Thats a nice list of names. Now, if they all play zero defense, have the heart of an ant, and can't shoot a jumpshot to save their lives, one of those fine young men will fit in perfectly with this team.

1. My birthday
2. Summer is here
3. NBA Draft coverage like 24/7
That's what's up my birthday's Sunday it waited till June to get hot.

brandon rush seems like he'd be a good fit but our pick is too high to take him. Our 10 pick will probably go to one of the first 4 names on that list. Besides love, they all have the same pros and cons.
Athletic, Raw with potential, Undeveloped/unproven Skills/shot.
We've taken these kinds of players over and over again.
The most nba ready is probably love. maybe we should go with him.

I have fears about drafting players that we haven't worked out, the last time we did that we ended up with one of the league leaders in turnovers via stepping out of bounds

I thought we had worked out Wright??? I remember hearing we had scouted him for years at TAMU, but I guess he may have closed off workouts after hearing that he could go to Orlando.
Speaking of the '05 draft, no lie, I remember hoping that we would take Granger when he fell to us at #15, and one of the HS-ers (Amir Johnson, Andray Blatche) at #43. :big, biiiiiiiiiiiigsigh:

A lot of us here wanted Granger, but like the Nets brass, were concerned about possible knee issues...I wonder how that worked out lol. Him and green were rated higher on my personal list than Wright. I also didn't think Wright was gonna fall to us though so that's why he was low. I'm starting to not like players that "fall to us" more than guys we didn't work out. Remember RJ intentionally sucked in our workout but we read right through him. I'd rather take a guy who didn't work out for us, or worked out bad that we had confidence in rather than a guy who is projected lottery, falls at least 10 spots to us. dropping from say like 7 to 10 (like Mr. Italian could potentially do or even LSU Boy), isn't bad, but when someone drops as much as Williams did, I'm a little concerned. Even with him being there at our pick, I still wanted Jordan Farmar over him.
