Topic says it all. I'm staying up late so I can see if the Nets make an early splash with their MLE and LLE.

Guys I'd like us to look into is Pietrus and Pargo personally. Thing is, I can't really make a good guess on who we will target because I am 100% sure we're gonna make another trade. We have 13 guys under contract now. To me, it looks as if we plan on playing all our young guys so I don't think they want to have ANY of them inactive (well maybe Marcus if we add another PG) so that all means we gotta clear some roster space if we are gonna sign anyone. I still think we should go for a player like Al Harrington in a trade then sign Pargo. That's just me though.

No one LOL.
Seriously I dont see us doing anything interesting this year in the free agency.
Im sure we'd love to get JR Smith but Denver looks dead set on keeping him.

Haha hopefully you don't stay up too late. I did read today that Thorn didn't plan on making any 12:01 phone calls or flying Lawrence Frank to some part of the country with a contract in hand.

Whoever it is, it's definitely for a 2 year guaranteed contract with a 2rd year option.
Not a lot of FA's would want that.

Pietrus and Pargo would be perfect, and then move KVH/Swift one of the bigs/marcus for another veteran with a decent deal
I won't hold my breath though, Thorn's FA signings are among the worst in the league for the past 3 years and the people he should have given money too, he lowballs.

Not to mention going into a team that's rebuilding and not a lot of capspace right now. Trades would be Thorn's best option right now (Much easier said than done).

I say we try to get James Jones. He will probably want $$. If Thorn pushes, a S&T with Portland for some trade exceptions or KVH.

Pietrus or Childress for SF and Dooling as backup PG.

Most likely yi..
As for free agents, i'm not so sure. If we don't bring back nachbar i'd like for us to try and sign james jones. He'll get more playing time over here than he would in portland.
As for Pargo, no chance in hell we get him to come here. He's in a pretty good situation over in NO and I doubt they would let him go that easily seeing as he's there 6th man.
