Do you think VC's willing to be part of rebuilding process?

just asking. Kidd and RJ is gone. obviously the focus of the team is Brooklyn and Lebron by 2010. he aint gonna win a championship with the current lineup and he's not getting any younger. will he demand to be traded? or he'll just happily coast along until The King arrives? thx

Who knows he could still make some moves this season and be OK . We're not looking just for bigtime Capspace we're looking to be a) a decent team b) have tons of assets and c) still have plenty Caproom .

And a reminder players signed through a S&T can sign the biggest contracts and have higher raises ( See: Lewis , Rashard ) We're collecting asstets right now and RJ was just in the way.

I dont really think he cares about a championship at all at this point in his career.
Vince has matured a lot since he came from Toronto I dont see him asking to be traded at any point in his remaining career, he got his chance to contend in this ball club with the "big 3" experiment and he blew it he now has a HUGE contract and loves everyone in a franchise that treat's him very well I think he thinks that that's really enough.
So unless we stat treating him like **** like the Raptors did I think Vince is gonna stay with his happy worry free life style.

Either way unlike the JKidd situation I wont blame him or be upset at him for asking to be traded.

Vince enjoys teaching and with this team there will be a lot of that going around. I agree I would unerstand if he ask for a trade. I think the only guy who can approve a vince trade is Ratner.

Personally, I want him to stay with the club. I would like to hold off on that until I see the rest of the moves this off-season.

I think he has a good shot at having a great year and improving his trade value a lot (which is what really matters long term). He will be the main man on an offense with no other wing players and he probably sees this as a chance to re-do the Toronto fiasco the right way.

I'd like to see him go through the rebuilding process gracefully but...
something tells me he's going to quit on the team. (downer)
