BROOKLYN MOVE

Hi All...relocatin NewYorker....heard they are moving to Brooklyn...

any idea when and if that is happening
and will the team be changing its name to Brooklyn Nets etc

I think either 2010 or 2011.

They're going to become the Brooklyn Nets.

Yeah I heard the stadium is not gonna be open at the start of the 2010-2011 season but they will probably move in at some point during that season.

It kinda sucks.. I live in NY (a stones throw away from the verezanno bridge to brooklyn) but I'd still rather it be in NJ. I got to NJ in 20-25 minutes no traffic, now gonna be sitting in traffic forever in the Flatbush area and on the Belt Pkwy.

I think the reason it's taking so long are these lawsuits. Now they're not even being looked at by the court, so they're going to start breaking ground sooner or later.

That's already more of a hassle than just driving straight to Izod..
