And another thing dont you guys think Carter deserved to be a all star the past year. He averaged 21.3 ppg,5.1 apg,6 rp, and 1.22 spg. Only three player in the NBA averaged atleast 20 ppg,6rpg,and 5 apg. They are Lebron, Kobe, and Vince. Those are definitly all star numbers. He better be in it next year.
- the original story from the Denver media DID NOT have SWat included in any trade discussions (the names involved were Marcus Williams, Josh Boone & Krstic).
- Thorn recently denied the the Nets made the above offer
- I'm not a #'s guy but we don't have much $$ left to sign a impact player (perhaps Dooling if there are no other offers out there since Orlando "low balled" him)
- I assume some type of trade has to happen to trim & balance our roster
- I'm as big a VC fan there is but he absolutely did not deserve to be an All-Star last year. His #'s were low (only started putting up really good #'s post-Kidd trade) / he was maddeningly inconsistent / the Nets had an awful record. If the SF position wasn't so competitive I would have picked RJ as the Nets lone representative over Kidd.
- Next year who know's..the team is expected to struggle and defenses more than ever are going to focus on VC..so if the young guys surprise then VC's #'s (esp ppg / apg) may be good but again it starts with a good record. Hopefully....even if he put's up decent numbers & Nets do so so people will say who got in because of the Chinese vote or whatever lol..so if it comes it comes, if not oh well as long as the team is showing growth & playing like they give a damn.
