Post#1 » by LBJ TO BK 08 » Mon Jul 21, 2008 9:10 pm

Im not trying to start fires here...to clear things up i am a die hards net fan..no one can ever take that away from me so i dont want to hear it.... although you may think i am new to real gm... i am on a new account so dont look at my posts and think i am some 12 year old kid trying to create fights... the reason why i go on real gm is to find the latest basketbal news.. and to discuss basketball issues... wheres the debates tho? where are the conflicts? where is the arguing? Some people treat me like an a-hole who doesnt now S*** but i just want to see some damn disscusions i want to see dis agreements... its like everyone is playing mr. nice guy and agreeing with what everyone else is saying...its the internet...speak your minds...say the truth...at the same time dont insult people and hide behind computers...lets make this site what is should be and attract more overall nba fans into our fourm...im jus sayin

go to the trade board, look around here, we get in arguments all the time. I'm fine with you here but, honestly, most of your posts sound like they're just ripping someone instead of showing any actual well thought out analysis. There is a difference between looking like a guy who disagrees with another guy as opposed to a moron just running his mouth. Honestly too, I think right now there is a decent split on the Nets board concerning the direction of the team right now, yet I think both sides pose fine arguments. Just look at my argument a few weeks ago about Al Harrington and you'll see how you can have an argument with a group of people and not look like a prick.

Plus...don't go to the Celtics board. Last week you were like "i just went there and said I didn't think they could win a title next year" and I think Rich Rane posted your actual comments and it sounded extremely dickish. I'm on other teams boards all the time. The key is, pick your battles and don't just sound like you're ripping a guy. Remember all the knicks fans coming here after the RJ trade making fun of us...yeah that's what you looked like going to the celtics board.

RealGM is around conversation on a common interest. You can speak your mind but you're not speaking you're mind. You 90% of the time sound like you're bashing.

Also man, don't curse. I have one of the foulest mouth's ever, and if I can keep it under wraps on here, anyone can.

Just learn how to play the game here and you'll be fine.

Read my posts when the regular season begins if you want to see real conflict.
