The Sixers are looking into possibly signing him after Jason Smith went down with an injury. He used to be a real good player, but I'm not sure what happened to him.

You guys saw him with the Nets. What exactly is wrong with him these days that won't let him stick with a team, and why do his numbers suck?

He's not really that old either...

I heard a story of him beeing an alcoholic , drug addicted which could explain why he sucked so much the last years.

Not sure if thats true but he really sucked with the Nets and the Mavs last season and hardly saw the floor because of it .

Defensively he can still contribute but I have no idea what's wrong with him offensively, his hands have turned to rocks, he takes stupid shots, and he's a walking turnover, plus he settles for the outside shot more often than he did in the past (despite the fact that he can't really connect on it).

He's a major offensive liability... He just doesn't know when to shoot and when not to shoot so he shoots the ball everytime it gets near his rock hands.

In all honesty he just never got a fair chance with neither team this season.

Dallas didn't even had a backup Center besides him and he still hardly played . In the last games of the regular season where he actually played for them he showed that he didn't deserve more playing team .

And in NJ he just simply got badly outplayed by Josh Boone ( who hardly played in the beginning as well ) and after that never saw the floor again consistently . And rightly so.

And he took some of the most stupid fouls i've ever seen because he can't stand in front of most guys he was guarding.

i dont know its like he forget how to play, he couldnt rebound, shoot, he wasnt only outplayed by Josh boone, but yes jason collins...

I'd run with that story nothing else explains his fall from grace he went from once NBA all star to DNP status.

who cares...he made the allstar team by default...and probably was one of the most avg allstars in a given year ever...

He doesnt have anything left or right. I think He is going to be a serviceable backup, but dont expect much for him. I was high on him joining the Nets but He really didnt get a chance and he didnt give himself a chance here.

AND if actually looks at the basket when he ''tries to'' dunk.

Magliore lost it at a young age. It seems strange.

I'm more than certain that Magloire can still post up and throw up a hard brick off the glass even at this stage of his career.
