Any interest in this guy if there was a possibility of a S&T on the cheap with a cheap contract?
I don't know if he really makes sense with our roster or if a S&T is at all realistic but just wondering.
He's medium risk/high reward in my eyes, I just don't know if he has the shooting ability to play anything other then the point, or if his injury has healed enough where it would warrant giving up anything of value for him.
I doubt it would take much.
Maybe Van Horn's contract, some cash and a 2nd rounder.
Then again he is going to add salary, but man, if he wound up back to form in a year or 2 he is still young and could be so good.

He's an unrestricted free agent if I'm not mistaken, there was a rumor a while back that he turned down guaranteed money from the Clippers though which is pretty stupid when you stop and think about it.

Yeah, Shaun turned down a one-year guaranteed deal. He said he's looking for a team to commit to him with a multi-year offer.
He's a low-risk proposition for the right price, but I think we would be th wrong spot for him. Frank would give him the Planinic treatment.

can't seem to stay healthy. Was supposed to have Magic Johnson type court vision with questionable jumpshot & body/frame.
Guess he's looking for a team that's willing to commit to him despite the injury concerns.
Wouldn't mind a look see on him...

It is kind of difficult to consider any acquisition of Livingston without having detailed info on his recovery. His injury has been described as devastating. The kind of injury that ruins a career. There is no reason to invest a roster spot, much less salary money, if he is damaged to the point of not being able to compete int he NBA.

Only way I see us offering him a deal is if we can cut the roster down to 12-13 which I don't think will happen any time soon. I know the Nets "wanted" to cut the roster to 13 by the end of september, but I doubt that'll happen.
Also, the clip of Livingston getting hurt is the ONLY professional sports clip I've ever seen that I really DO NOT want to watch again. I cringe so much when I watch it.
