I like this matchup 1 thru 5. Don't forget this team beat the Celtics. I hope Devin plays but he might need at least a night off after that great performance last night and his sprained ankle.

I like the Nets starter vs the Pacers starter... I hope DH ankle is okay to keep up with TJ Ford.. Does Pacers have a good bench? hmmm

What is Devin's status for this game ? He & Ford would make a good matchup but if Devin's out the Nets are in trouble.
Good thing that Dunleavy it out leaving one less perimeter shooter to expose the Nets.
Just a gut feeling but I see a monster game from VC today. *no jinx*

I believe VC has the highest PPG at Conseco Fieldhouse in the enitre league out of active players, including any Pacers or former Pacers currently on other teams.

Devin Harris is out. Keyon Dooling starting in his place.

Damn, there goes a winnable game down the drain.
Keyon Dooling as the starting PG is a lose-lose situatuion.
I am not a big fan of Keyon to begin with, but I am fine with him playing 18 mpg off the bench as a true combo guard. But him as the actual pg, with no back up is trouble waiting to happen.
If Frank doesn't attempt to run the offense through VC and Lopez all game this will be close to unwatchable.
If Lopez gets in foul trouble or makes a bunch of silly rookie TO's we are in just as much trouble.
Baa!

Day to day.
Opie is killing me.
He played Trent and I'm sure he'll bring him back.
Najera getting way too many minutes.
Dooling is a nice back up, but he gets way to trigger happy and his shot selection is crazy questionable.

I never liked the Najera signing and now I absolutely hate it.
This guy is such a scrub and the big problem is he would be satisfied with around 12 mpg but Opie isn't.
I can see it already, Opie plays this has been 25 mpg or more the entire season and stifles guys like Anderson and Sean Williams growth trying to win with a guy that shoots 20 something % from 3 but is considered a good outside shooter because Karl used to let him jack em up at will.
Gross.

SWAT can give us a boost but then again Opie is coaching...

It's not as much Lopez' fault as it seems, any time he posts up everyone ignores him unless VC has the ball, and I would prefer he doesn't defer when the Dude is out.
BTW, Hassel back in, with Simmons and Jarvis....great lineup Ope.....

Only way he stops playing is if he gets injured or traded.
It's amusing watching Dooling at the point, this guy couldn't run a poker game, let alone the offense.
Trent just dribbled more than twice in a sequence about the 4th time in this game.....
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little....
