The Nets better be clicking from down town this game otherwise they're in for a long night... Slowing down the Lakers is like trying to stop a train with your hands.

I'm also concerned that the Lakers might just completely go off from beyond the arc... I mean the Nets do have the worst 3-point defense in the league =D

Yes sir, yes it was.

Anyway I do believe we're playing well, make that very well lately we beat 3 teams (1 of them twice) that if someone told me before the season began that we would beat them I would downright explode in front of his face, but we're just not even close to beating the Lakers, the Lakers are the hands down best team in the league and have a great starter and depth at every position.

The Nets can win..if everyone plays well.. and defend.. do you believe in magiv..and I hope you do..hehe.. hey Nets can beat the lakers.. yi, vince, harris, simmon, brooks need to score about 20 each...

Against the best team in the NBA... We're gonna be in for a LONG night...

Since Radmanovic is their SF we should try starting Anderson instead of simmons but meh whatever. That has as much chance of happening as the temperature going up to the mid 80's...

Meh the chances of winning this game are bleak. The Lakers are loaded on all fronts. Yi's non-existent defense will be exposed against their really good front court. If the Nets offense is clicking and they manage to get their key players in foul trouble, then they could pull this off.

In other words, if Kobe comes down on Gasol's foot early 1st quarter, spraining his ankle bad enough to not play the rest of the night and falls on Gasol's knee and then Gasol clotheslines Bynum in the jugular on his way down, then we might have a chance to win, if Phil Jackson comes down with a violent case of salmonella by halftime.

When I think about playing this current Laker team on this western road trip I think of Joe Pesci in Home alone 1... "Marv, this one is the silver tuna"...............Let's give them a good fight. Win or lose I'd be more then happy to see us battle it out with them to the final minute.

there you go...Devin and Vince have to be clicikng on all cylinders...Most likely if they both dont score close to 30pts each, we wont have a chance...both of our stars have to force the action while getting others involved...then its up to our role players starting with Lopez and Yi...we need for them to battle, score and obviously defend...I agree with Netsforce, I might start Ryan tonight vs Rad...but him combined with Bobby and Jarvis need to put points on the board of their own while limiting mistakes...a little defense from SW maybe some fastbreak points for a change can give us an outside shot at this one in LA...and on that note, you better hope we're hitting from beyond the arc and in numbers...we might need 10 from deep to have a chance...

I would love to have Kobe choke on this one in LA...come on Vince... and Devin, you need to be fearless...

if Devin and VC takes their A game to this one you have a chance. couple that with Yi matching up very well with Gasol, and if he builds on what he did the last game then it'll be a close one. Lopez is decent and with the overhyped Bynum, a more or less even match.

Anyways, let Kobe score his usual but limit the production of Gasol by rotating Sean Williams, Najera and Yi on him.

I actually think that we have a chance of winning this one,Ofcourse we need Harris to play great again. Carter is on fire right now and he usually plays well in LA so I expect a good game from him.We need to be much better defensively though.
