Marcus Williams wants to be traded

Al Harrington isn't the only player that wanted out of Golden State. Point guard Marcus Williams has grown frustrated with his lack of playing time.

After two decent seasons with the Nets,
Williams was hoping for a fresh start and more playing time after being dealt to the Warriors on July 22.

It's still amazing to me that Rod got a 1st round pick for this bum.

He really did have a few solid games with us. Still, we should have drafted Farmar like I wanted lol.

I wonder who is gonna take him

I liked him. I felt he was developed horribly under Frank. It sucks though that the highest we could get out of the pick is 11, which probably isn't happening.

For once I don't blame him. I hate Don Nelson with a passion...

I thought the highest it can be is 15.
We only get the pick if they make the playoffs and eventually if they don't in the seasons it is possible for us to receive it, it becomes back to back 2nd rounders.

of course he does...the problem is, he has to find a coach who is willing to trust him with the ball...he's not the worst pg in the league, he's still young and has potential...but I think he has a lot to learn...I hope for his sake, he realizes he might have to take the slow road rather than make demands...

i love when scrubs demand trades. The GM is probably thinking "If I f***ing could, I f***ing would!"
It would be like Maurice Ager announcing to the media that he wants out of New Jersey.

i honestly think he can be a decent PG.. Maybe not a starter but at least a solid backup. It just seems like he doesnt get a chance anywhere he goes. In Jersey he had to play behind Kidd and then Harris once the trade happened. In Golden State he gets no PT. The most he played this season was 10 minutes and he had 4 assists in those 10 minutes. I think if given a chance somewhere he can be a solid player.

Does not compute.

Yeah, you're probably right but I still want a side of mash potatoes too :D He looked good with U Conn but He just can't seem to train, to push himself. CJ Watson...who lacked PG experiance (and major talent) out hustled him.

well he wasnt getting a lot of time playing behind kidd because kidd was playing 35-40 mins a game.. Plus Frank never let him play through mistakes and he really never got to develop here. In Golden State he just gets no PT

The funny things is that the Warriors beat writers were all writing positive things about him, talking about how he was the best point guard in training camp etc., but Nellie just never gave him a chance proving to go with scrubs like DeMarcus Nelson instead.
