I was just listening to some older music and man, all I could think of was how bad Lil Wayne is.
The funny part is I wasn't even listening to rap(I would call it hip hop, but Lil Wayne IS NOT, hip hop), and I remembered the call out by Ecuhus for a thread debating how vomit inducing Little Gay-ne is .

So I wanted to start this thread, dedicated to calling out in the closet tendencies of Richard Simmons' wristed, pink lollipop tongue smothering, nancy boy, sexually confused rappers and the opposition, which is actually good and enjoyable music.

First off I wanna say I was never a big fan of NAS but his latest album was the best album ive heard in a long time. I really cant name another album since like 2001 thats worth listening to. I still drive around with Enter the Wu Tang 36 Chambers in my cd player. Theres really nothing good to listen to anymore because any random dude with one catchy phrase can repeat it 67 thousand times and go platinum from that track alone (soldier boy). You dont know how much i hate lil wayne. What the f*ck is that guy saying??? And what kind of bum gets high off of cough syrup??? I mean come on at least drink alcohol, have some dignity. Oh and you all need to get on the underground spot, http://www.ughh.com ive found so many great artists on that site and you can get all the old school cd's too.

I love Gym Class Heroes but I've been listening to them for about 5 years now. They're poppier now, but still good for parties and whatnot.

I'm more into punk/hardcore though. Gaslight Anthem is like the greatest band in the world to me right now.

Modern day hip-hop is absulotley garbage I really cant listen to anything that came out this year, 2006 had some pretty nice things mostly created by TI whose ok and Kanye whose great but other than that hip hop is dead as far as Im concerned.

Jay Z is my hands down favourite rapper of all time but I really think that the 2nd best has to be Dr.Dre the guy really perfected 90's West coast hip hop in my opinion I really think he has been underatted like a mothat **** for years.
I actually find myself listening to a whole bunch of the beastie boys lately not the corny "no sleep till brooklyn stuff" but stuff like Brass monkey and "watcha want" etc'.

I don't really like Dre and even though EVERYONE on this planet knows him, I think you could make an argument for it in regards to today's rap scene. I'm not saying it'd be an awesome argument for Dre, but I have faith some solid points could be made.

Im not really a big fan of west coast rap. Dre still needs to release this album of his that was suppose to come out ages ago. I forgot the name but yea it has been promised to come out just like Cuban Linxs 2
