Curly's great. I love him but him and Brooksy are pretty similar. I'd rather have a him and Brook and Yi anchor there though than Sean and Josh to tell you the truth. Regardless, I'd call him if I was Thorn. How much does Earl Watson make? I wouldn't mind trying to swing Earl for Krstic.

Can't we bluff OKC into thinking that we're going to match and get some kind of compensation out of them?

We could bluff, but they know we have to cut someone to sign him.

Star Ledger says the initial reaction from the front office is that we will not match it. I know management is pretty happy with Yi and Brook and Ryan and the article says management doesn't want to pay 5mll a year for a bench player in a clogged position on our roster. I agree. We have some space though, I think we should try to land Watson.

We should do a S&T with Najera and Sean Williams.

No, the Blunder S&T Curly to us for Najera/Sean Williams and Ager if possible, lol.

LOL we own his rights, yet we somehow do a sign and trade FOR Nenad. Sign me up.

From the other thread about this, you know I could have sworn that after a player signs an offer sheet, you had more options than just "match or don't match." I could have sworn you could swing a S&T with that team as long as it's within the 7 days.

Watson is making 6.2 million this season and 6.6 million next season.

Yeah, sign me up for that. I like earl, we need a 3rd pg, his contract comes off the books at the right time. Add Ager/money to buy him out to make contracts match and lets make it happen.

Once the offersheet is signed then the ONLY decision is whether to match or not. You cannot do any S&T at all.

So did K-Mart sign the sheet first before we traded him?

K-Mart never signed an offersheet (i don't even think denver had that amount of money) they decided to do a trade instead.

Seriously, I'm pretty much positive he's right.

Kmart did not sign an offer sheet with Denver.

Hence the reason he got an extra year of contract because he signed with us then was immediately traded.

I wish we'd just match it.

$15 over 3 is nothing...let's just trade Sean Williams already and bump Trenton Hassell out of the rotation.
