Douby's pretty cool, i was never a fan of rutgers or his unibrow, but from what i saw from him last season in his few minute appearances he doesn't look too bad.
I think we could do better though

Doo IT! I'm personal friends with Quincy. When I had my internship with rutgers awhile back I used to talk to Quincy all the time. He's such a class act and he wants to be a star in this league. For all of those who didn't watch Rutgers basketball when he was playing, he was as clutch as they come and he was deadly from anywhere on the court. Him and Ricky Shields were one of the best back courts in the Big East.
I'm all for this trade but it may just be me being a homer lol

i like it and im biased too.. im a rutgers grad who worked at the college ave gym, he went there occasionally.. met him twice, he seemed very humble both times and he can shoot from anywhere on the court.

I'm sorry, as lateral of a move as this seems, it is not an especially good one.
I liked Douby in college and thought he would have been like an Eddie House in the NBA, but it just never happened.
He will never be a succesful player in this league and his trade value right now is a 2nd rounder at best.
S
ean Williams is at least worth a late 1st RIGHT NOW.
Sean Williams actually has potential and is a legit 6'10 with a huge wingspan.
Personally I do not think Sean Williams is going to be that good, nor a good fit with the Nets, but he will still be one of those guys that sticks around for a minimum 4 or 5 more years.
I would say Douby will be lucky to get a partially guarenteed contract for next year form any team in the league.
His team option was declined.
His value is Maurice Ager.
As non-impactful as this trade seems it is putrid for us.
I would much rather trade Sean for a late 1st, try to let him get his on that team and then draft a guy like Christmas, Nando De Colo, Eric Maynor if he slips, Greivis Vasquez, Taj Gibson, Johnny Flynn and the list goes on and on.
