I believe Hawes is still out, Martin might not be starting again, although that didn't stop him from droppin 45 beans the last time he suited up.
Devin still isn't a definite, but from what I have read he is gonna give it a go.

This game is gonna be tougher than it looks, but Devin or no Devin, I will be highly disappointed if we don't come out with our heads up high and the W.

Uh.... what happened?
I have been flipping from this to the G Town Notre Dame game.
19-5 run for the Queens before that VC basket?!!!
We suck.

On a side note, man I miss Bill.

Kenny Thomas happened, haha.

Why isn't Ryan Anderson playing? He killed the Kings last game.

I see Kevin Martin has it set on video game mode.

That one dimensional, skinny, little prick.

Lopez really having trouble with turnovers. He needs to make quicker decisions with the ball. His moves have been too mechanical too so far.

I'd like to see them put Yi into the mid-post again. He's produced 2pts off to his left, 2pts off a jumper, and he drew a foul in those situations.

God we are s**t!

If we lose this game, I seriously am going to think about ripping my tickets to the Blazers game into little pieces.

Najera looks so out of place on a basketball court, like that one guy in his forties at the local park that used to be a little good that thinks he still has it and always calls next. Ugh.

If he claps his hands together one more time, I swear to God I will throw a chicken sandwich at him when I am at the Blazers game.

Opie, get him out of there!

Looks like that game vs the Hawks was pure New Year's hangover BS.

We're playing one of the literal worst road teams in the Association.

We are a bunch of friggin girls.

Straight up pansies that couldn't beat the Sparks if the game was in the Meadowlands and Candice was out with the once a months.

I am disgusted.

I want to find Opie's house and pelt it with rotting onions and put poo under the door handles of his car. Maybe put anchovies in his air conditioning system.

Bah!

Who the Nets could have drafted instead of selling the pick.

Devin isn't coming back on and it sounds like he'll be out of action for weeks....not days.

Weeks? :-?

Ugh.

Well at least Opie will be forced to use Lopez more and Rod will be forced to go out and get that 3rd PG we needed so badly.

Lotto here we come.

Anyone in the DC area, say high to our future Net, Greg Monroe.

Yi is really looking impressive tonight.

Facing up in the post, taking the ball to the rack, drawing fouls and creating for himself, off the dribble no less.

Lopez is blowing some easy ones.

11-19 from the charity stripe.
Oh the humanity................

Yeah I sometimes listen to the radio coverage while watching the telecast. There's just something about Chris and Capper that I like. Anyway, they were saying that Devin may have a tear in his hamstring and that it's more serious than the strain they originally suspected. That being the case, they're saying that the Nets will likely keep Devin in cotton-wool for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, so we do need to go after that third PG. I just hope we don't have to go back to Eddie Gill again. Can we not set the bar a little higher than a D-Leaguer?

As for the Kings in this one....well I'm now convinced that Kevin Martin doesn't eat solid foods. The guy looks like he weighs all of 40 pounds.

Where are Net's fans? Izod center looks like half empty. Sometimes, I don't get it why fans are not supporting Nets so well. At least, they play with their hearts.

This is not a good thing.
It opens the door for a VC trade if we go on a serious losing streak as well, which I hate, unless we get literally Jeff Green, Rudy Fernandez, a lotto pick, Rudy Gay, etc, etc.

A torn hamstring could be out for months, no?

I would love to go after Lowry, Conley, Sergio Rodriguez or someone like that for a PG.

Right. I consider myself an extremely level-headed Nets fan - one that puts the team above all else, all players - but if they trade VC, I'll seriously consider hanging myself.

There are varying degrees of hamstring tears, but yes. Even a reasonably severe tear would see Devin miss months, and that would have ramifications for the rest of his career too. His game is all about speed, and having to worry about a dodgy hamstring...

That's something I feared for him as soon as he was traded to us from the Mavs.
