We need a 3rd PG.
We don't want to take on salary beyond 2010 unless it is a very small amount or if that player is really worth it.
OKC has too many.
So.........
NJ sends:
Stromile Swift
Sean Williams
NJ recieves:
Earl Watson
1st round pick(either San An's or Denver's)
Thoughts?

I dont know, i like having dooling come off the bench as the backup pg. I personally think we should get a pure backup shooting guard to relieve VC and give dooling strictly pg responsibilities.

If we were able to steal a 1st round pick in this deal, I'd be amazed. Yeah, we are giving them SWAT and all, and still I'd assume there would be a lot of restrictions on the pick, but hell, that is likely to be a lottery pick for the next 3-5 years.
Back to the actual deal, I like Earl Watson. He seems to cry a ton though when he's not a big part of the team. I could see him complaining at some point. Regardless, this doesn't hurt 2010 so if the Nets did this, I'd be fine with it.

The pick would not be their's.
They own both San An and Denver's picks this upcoming draft, we would get the worse of the 2.

I dont know VC4P.
I doubt they give us a 1st rounder especially with Psycho Sean.

Yeah, it's probably more realistic as a straight up Strom for Watson swap and then I'm not sure if the incentive is there from our management to take on an extra 6 mill next year to have Watson and Dooling fist fighting in practice after the honey moon of being out of OKC wears off, lol.

Wouldn't mind seeing Thorn make a play for Anthony Parker as a backup for Vince.

I love Anthony Parker, we should trade for his sister too!

But that means you have to trade for Shelden as well, they are a package deal.

No, I'll break them up, raise his kid and marry her.

Do what you gotta dude.
She has a gorgeous face, but I can't get away from the fact she's got a frame like Carlos Boozer.

I'll deal with it. While I'm living off her $70,000 salary and watching her pop out D-1 athletes, you'll be kicking yourself because you couldn't get past the fact she's built like a stud racehorse.
You're right her face is gorgeous though. She can dunk on me any day!

I don't like it. We need to get a back-up SG for Vince since Douglas-Roberts hasn't developed, plus it can help Dooling.

Wanna give the guy a chance?
He's a rookie that was hobbled by injury and hasn't been given a chance by our schmuck of a coach.
I will say, I don't like this trade if we aren't recieving the pick for Sean.
In hindsight of posting this, Watson is a good candidate to start a problem if he doesn't get significant minutes and he probably won't with Devin and Dooling in front of him.

Let's be fair, in the minutes CDR has gotten, he's been ineffective and has been WAY too passive out there(ala Antoine Wright)..

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4502/gamelog;_ylt=AryF5_tCdLd.OctTrRvfbV7zPaB4You people have to be kidding me. He's played 9 games total his career, missed a dozen due to spraining his knee, and you're already drawing comparisons to Antoine Wright. You be fair. This argument for CDR being weak is completely absurd.

I'm not comparing him to wright, I just said he reminds me of him because he's way too passive when he gets the ball. It's not my fault he hasn't been efective because he's too timid on the offensive end.

As much as I hate Frank, he's given CDR a chance and he hasn't been impressing me at all.
