I'd pass. I like craig smith, but he'd just be a bench player for us. It's good value I feel, but him and miller just make us a 2nd round out at best for the next 2 years. I'd rather make a push with this team than be a bunch of pretenders and have mid round draft picks the next 2 years. If we make the playoffs this season, hey that's cool. It'll give our young team confidence going into next year and it'll make some potential free agent's ears perk up possibly. If we miss it, hope Stern rigs the lottery in our favor and land a lottery pick. If not we don't hit the top 3, then either try to trade up or hope a player falls like we lucked out with Lopez last year.

I'm just tired of being pretenders which honestly, even in our finals years (cause the east was atrocious back then) we were pretenders for the better half of this decade. I'm all for making small deals and whatnot to build on the future or something that propels us into a realistic championship caliber team, but what I'm opposed to is just floating around mediocrity for 2 more years and hope we luck out in 2010 free agency. That's just my opinion.
