I don't know man playing the Knicks 3 times is at minimum two guaranteed wins, possibly 3 I think you're underestimating the Nets here. They've played poorly of late but they can still turn it around...

(I'm really looking forward to watching Lopez dominate Lee by the way, there might not be a more overrated big man in the league than D-Lee right now)

I say 9 wins 17 loss's. Its a pretty tough schedule and this is not the same Nets team that use to turn it on after the all star break.

Portland Trailblazers - W - if Oden even plays, he still won't be healthy enough
Chicago Bulls - L - they just acquired Salmons and he killed us when he was with the Kings
New Orleans Hornets - L
Milwaukee Bucks - W
Boston Celtics - L
Orlando Magic - L
New York Knicks - L - shoots a lot of 3's, teams that shoots 3's we'll gonna lose, they'll be open
Golden State Warriors - L - again, they'll be open with Frank's defense
Portland Trailblazers - L - Roy plays better at home, he hits game winning shots there
Los Angeles Clippers - L - Gordon & Thornton are playing better plus Baron, Kaman and Camby
Denver Nuggets - W - all they have to do is shoot more 3's. Smith, Kleiza and Billups are enough
New York Knicks - L - same result
Miami Heat - L - we all know they can't beat the Heat, Wade's too good & Cook, new champ
Cleveland Cavaliers - L - come on, it would not matter if we play home, even without LeBron
Cleveland Cavaliers - L - we are gonna lose in a wide margin, Mo and Gibson would kill us
Los Angeles Lakers - L - heyheyy!! nothing else to say
Minnesota Timberwolves - W - dont know if Al is back, but it wouldn't matter
Milwaukee Bucks - Home - W
Detroit Pistons - L - last win against them was a fluke, but they're not the same team anymore
Chicago Bulls - L
Philadelphia 76'ers - W
Boston Celtics - L
Detroit Pistons - L
Orlando Magic L
Charlotte Bobcats - L - this team is different and have more players now to shoot 3's
New York Knicks - L - same result

6- 20

I know losing to the Knicks the rest of the season doesn't seem like a possibility, but the Nets right now is poor on defending the 3 pt shots and actually, they have the 2nd worst record on that. We have the same problem EVERY game defending the 3's and the 3rd quarter. Frank many times tried to fix that issue but obviously, he has no clue on how to get it done. But, what's worse is Rod still backs him up and still think he is a good coach. Theus wasn't given a bit more chance and the same goes with Porter while Franky has been here and still here eventhough he couldn't fix the same problem they're having each and every game. It's ashame... i was hoping the other night that he would just go on with his statement and say that he's out of the head coaching job.

11-15, ending the season with 35 wins.
Anything under 8 wins is crazy talk, I don't care how bad we have been playing.
I could actually see us going on a run and finishing the season with 38 or 39 wins, but I tries to be realistic when I made my predictions, not going off the deep end either way.

I hate to say it, but I could see 8-18. Especially if we are statistically out of it with like 4 or 5 games left and wwe sit Carter and play Devin sparingly.

Never say it like you're so sure about it because it might really happen and then youl'll end up saying "Oh..."

It's a prediction, no big deal.

Mets baby!

Regardless, as much as I love our team, I am hoping we go 10-16 or worse. I want to be lottery and actually have more than a .7% chance of hitting the top 3.

I'd go with 8-18 it's a tough road and it looks like we're mailing it in. I sat right behind the basket for the Wizards game. It was a sad sight to see.

I completely have no confidence in this team. It has nothing to do with the players. A few games before the ASG I felt better even though Frank was at the helm. With the losses before and the ones after, I have lost confidence.

I agree with $.60. Maybe we win ONE game against the Knicks, but I doubt it. D'Antoni has Frank's number. The Knicks are not more talented then the Nets, but the coach is far superior then ours. He gets the most our of his players. I also see a lose that last game against the Bobcats. I also see us losing to the Bucks in one of those games. I am on the fence about beating the Nuggets. For everything else I agree with.

The seasons is done. Lets hope Frank plays the rookies more.

All honestly, I doubt I go to any of the remaining Nets game. The sad part is if they traded VC I would have been more motivated to take the trip to the swamp.

The funny thing is Milwaukee just won by 3 points against the Nuggets, who many considers as 2nd best team before the postseason, and the Bucks did it without much of RJ's help, who only had 1 defensive rebound and 6-12 on the FT line.

So maybe i need to adjust my prediction to 5-21. Although the Nuggets are a good team, we have a shot at beating them because they're game is not really coming from the outside, where the Nets' weakness is at this point, and it showed from our last game against them, we ate those Nuggets with some sweet and sour sauce the last time.

I can't blame you if you don't feel like going to IZOD anymore this season because it will just really frustrates you. What's sad is i still have like 6 tickets to any games in the lower level seats right in the middle of the court and i don't plan of coming back any time soon.

I guess I'm weird, if I can get decent tickets for cheap, I'd still go if I was around. I go to at least 1 game every time I'm home. Granted I'm in a different situation since I don't live in Jersey so I'd probably be more like you guys if I did. For some reason, I would rather be at the game miserable than watching it on TV. At least someone in the organization could hear me complain when I'm in the arena. My dog and Cavs fan roommate are the only one's who hear me at home.

Maybe that's what we need to do...pack the IZOD center with Lawrence Frank haters. Maybe that will finally get the point across to Rod and Kiki. As much as I love Rod Thorn, the one thing you can knock on him for is his unreasonable affection for Lawrence Frank. Rod can't quit him!

Seriously though, I would still love if we made the playoffs this year, but it doesn't look too good.
The messed up part is, that I think everyone else and I agree, either make the playoffs or hopefully lose every game possible and get a better pick in the draft.
The problem is, that line is so thin, figuring you can probably snag the 8th seed in the East with 39 wins, so we aren't even close to out of it.
Regardless, I think the Bulls go on a run and take the 7th seed and the Bucks take the 8th with 40 wins.
Pistons don't make the playoffs, book it.

I still see us winning 33-36 games this season, which for the umpteenth time sucks, because we miss the playoffs, but only get the 10th to 12th pick barring the luck of a top 3 jump.

I know that would really really suck!

Frank kinda changed the sub patterns and it's kinda working right now, to me, SWill is an excellent choice over Boone, he's more active, more athletic and can change a few players shots, i just don't have a clue on why Frank just inserted him now, i think it's kinda late and that's why they will probably fall short again and miss the playoffs. And what sucks, just like what you've said, is that we're gonna end up around 33-36 games and that's not good.

And by just looking at the teams that picks around that pick of the draft, Pacers, Kings, PDX, etc. They never really get over it and would always end up picking at the same range, like around 10-14, and it seems like we're going in that direction. Just missing the playoffs and picking around 10-14th pick is the worst possible scenario.

Since Frank changed his line up, i think the Nets are going to win more games, more games than i have predicted before (6-20). But, they will fall short because the new players in the rotation, and some are playing different positions, will end up finding consistency for missing a lot of games at the start of the season. It's going to be too late Frank, you should've thought about this way before the season even started but because you're so stubborn, worse will happen and i hope it's gonna be too late for you learn from that lesson!

You see.

The only team I see us beating is the T-Wolves. I hope we beat the bulls so the ROY matchup is focused and Lopez out plays Rose.
