Your guys watched way too many cartoons. I believe that your guys got that nickname from a cartoon that called “Saint Seiya”.

I just did a google search on Ming Wang and found hes also a baseball player in Taiwan. Which just makes me wonder why parents would name their child the angel of death????

^^^^... you got to be kidding me...

Chien-Ming Wang is not only the baseball player from Taiwan, he was the ACE for Yankees (Yankees sounds familiar, right?) for past 2 seasons, the guy is the most underrated player in the league... :nonono:

btw... chinese always say their last name first, Wang Chien-Ming or by his first name Chien-Ming.

As much as I HATE the Yankees, this guy is correct. He's been an above average pitcher for the Yankees but gets no love thanks to his teammates hogging the spotlight.

Haha I'm honestly speechless. I'd give you $1,000 bucks if you could hit a curveball from a little leaguer out of the infield within 10 pitches. For every fat, lazy or steroid guy who can only swing a bat, there are 15 guys who are actually very talented athletes.

Rant away. Lumping baseball into the same category with cheerleading and spelling bee's is flat out (Please Use More Appropriate Word). You could make an argument because of the steroids in baseball, but football has a similar problem, it's just kicked under the carpet more. If that's your argument, then football ain't a sport either. Basketball is the only TRUE American sport. Amen!

Haha I'm just messing, I just am curious though.

The obvious answer to his nickname is "the blur" - because of how fast he is. Don't really like it, but haven't found anything any better.

no steroids isnt my argument, although it does help the game look even dumber.

1.look at every other sport, football (soccer) 11 on 11, basketball 5 on 5, american football 11 on 11, hockey 5 on 5, baseball 1 on11??? (not sure the exact number because i dont really care).
2. where the hell is the time limit?? a baseball game can take up to 6 hours if nobody does anything.
3. what kind of sport allows you to chew tobacco during the game???
4. the players can fall asleep waiting to go up to bat.
5. last but not least, being an athlete is not required to play this. WAIT!!!! i didnt say they are all not athletes so dont **** on me just yet. im just saying it isnt required. if you can sit here and HONESTLY tell me you think babe ruth was an athlete ill hand wash your doodoo stained drawers.

I hate this nickname.
Not because it is a bad nickname, but because it has been Barbosa's way before it was Devin's and I hate when a nickname gets reused, very lame.
It's like the creative guys in Sacto that call Kevin Martin Kmart.
