Best place for the tickets

Post#1 » by Antti22 » Tue Feb 24, 2009 7:27 pm

Hey there,

As i am coming to the States in less than a month and going for Nets games is part of the plan. To be more exact: march 20th and 22nd (heat and cavs) games. So my question is, where to get the tickets for the best price and should i buy them in front via internet?

I use the website: stubhub.com

Are you going to be in the U.S. for a bit before the games though? Sometimes the people on stubhub can take a bit of time to deliver the tickets.

If you want to be safe get them from ticketmaster or buy them at the arena.

Yeah keep your eye out. Go to their site and sign up for email alerts. They may shoot you an email with a solid deal for those one of those games.

Where are you coming from anyway?

Ill get to NY a few days before the first game, so i hope i can find a way to get tickets beforehand. What seats have the best value for the money? Surely i cant really afford courtside tickets, but dont want second floor either i think.

Im coming from Estonia, Europe.

Nets have low attendance so it shouldn't be a major problem. I'd suggest going to the Nets website. In the upper right hand corner of the main page you can sign up for Nets News. You'll get some random news emails, but they also email you last minute ticket offers and suck. Since it's Wade and Lebron in the games you're planning on going to, they'll try to pack the place so they'll likely have a nice ticket offer for lower level seats about a week before the actual games.

If for some reason they don't, check out Stubhub or last resort pay the facevalue for tickets at the box office that day.

And another question popped my mind, what is the best way of getting to the IZOD center from NTC. Lets say for example from Madison Square Garden.

Antti read the above in that link... When I get time I'll see if I can look into things more in-depth for you, but I'm pretty sure that you can take a bus from the New York Port Authority straight to the IZOD center.
