BigWil, Alot of people (read sic and vc4p) on this board believe that not enough plays are run for Brook. Yet he still manages decent numbers. Now I have not seen one game this year i've been goin by stat's and what you guy's say.
Is it his hustle? His Bball IQ? Dumb Luck?
How good could he be if we ran the ball thru him some more?
Is there a chance of a late run at the wait for it.......

Brookie Of the Year

Cheers

Broken plays...put backs...he converts a high % of shots so he really doesnt need a lot of shots to get into double figures along w. shooting over 80% from ft line...he definitely hustles...I think his bball IQ is excellent for a rookie at his age...he moves the ball really well on the off. end, finds the open man welll...his help defense is excellent...you can see him learning...mistakes are obvious to him, he knows when he cheats on defense...overall, the refs are tough on him on the def end...

bottom line...Frank just doesnt call enough post ups for him or plays in general...he's might be considered a 3rd option, if that...he is seriously under used...more so because we're looking to push the ball all the time...

Devin and Brook have really progressed...their peaking as far as their communication is concerned... its scary how good they can be...

well he is in the running...has an outside shot for the award...on that note, you got to respect his range...silky smooth w. some deep jumpers...I would love to see him to become an inside outside Center... :droop:

Mr. Big Stuff with 2 Rookie of the month awards. Great draft pick for the Nets. This coming from a Bulls fan with another star rookie and ROY candidate. Good job NJ.

^ Like I said before, If Frank gives him the ball more in the post, he would get the ROY.

In the post, He can score. IF he gets the ball early in the Shot clock, he can also pass the ball to our shooters, Simmons(IMO best 3pt shooter on our team), Hayes(Second best), dooling, Harris, VC, Yi and anderson. So not only are his pts, Rebs, blocks and FT% impressive, he would also add asts to his resume.

FRANK IS AN IDIOT!!!! GIve the kid more touches in the paint!!! Lopez needs to do what SWAT does. Just post up and ask for the ball.

At first glance, I thought you were proposing Brook Lopez for Brandon Roy. This deserves its own thread apart from the Brook Lopez Shrine.
