NJ TRADES: Bobby Simmons, Trenton Hassell

LAC TADES: Zach Randolph + Sweetener

SWEETENERS: Eric Gordon, Al Thorton, #3, trading Vince Carter for Tracy McGrady in a 3-way

NJ gets a low post threat is been lacking and the clips shave a year of salary

I'd love to get rid of Hassell and Simmons, but taking back Randolph is like stabbing someone and getting stabbed in the stomach at the same time.

I would absolutley take Randolph for expirings if the sweetner was Gordon or the #3 overall.

Eddy Curry can potentially be Net's missing piece. Guy is big, strong. He can score against
any big man in the low post.

Ok, I admit, Curry is a poor rebounder. He doesn't impress anyone in the shotblocking department.
But then again, he is big, strong.

Nets need to play inside-out-game game.

That being said: Yi for Curry. Trade accepted.

I am definitely with you VC4pres. Either of those works for me. Getting Randolph would be well worth either.

As much as I despise Randolph, if the Clips are truly crazy enough to deal Gordon or pick #3 just to get out of that deal, you do it in a heartbeat. I don't even care if Randolph bothers to show up or prefers to spend the next 2 years in strip clubs

any preference to gordon or a lottery pick?

It would depend where that lottery pick was... Though I still might prefer Gordon. If you were trading for Randolph you'd basically have to start him, so instead of potentially getting Randolph (who's a cancer) and potentially a bust (if you make a bad draft pick), I'd just feel safer getting Randolph (who's a cancer) and a solid young player (Eric Gordon).

Why does everyone think that the Clippers will be willing to trade Eric Gordon? I mean, I know they are the Clippers, but still...

I don't think or at least I hope that most of us don't take this proposal too seriously, but the Clips would have to include something of interest for a team to take him for expirings.

Oh I understand that, and I guess what I was saying is that people shouldn't be taking it too seriously...they aren't going to let go of Gordon

gordon would be harder to swallow, but doable....a top 10 lotto pick for sure
