This is what I was saying (Should Dooling Start?)

"Dooling to the starting lineup. ... was the best unit we put on the court all year. Simmons did a really good job for us coming off the bench as far as scoring, and Jarvis obviously was very good for us most of the year."
http://www.nj.com/nets/index.ssf/2009/0 ... _rods.htmlThe only thing with this is. If frank had pushed for this lineup earlier would thorn had gotten another PG to help?
This was the best lineup. There is something about Dooling and Harris on the court together. The perimeter defense gets better. The offense flows better. Though Dooling is considered more of an off guard, I think Dooling is good along side Harris.

do it.
although i believe we also need a PF =P cuz Yi is garbage.
harris - dooling - carter - _____ - lopez
not to mention dooling is a slashing threat which simmons is not, he jus spots up, dooling can slash to the hoop for a small 2guard (kinda like delonte west if u think about it) , his ball handling will also free-up VC more , and give us more flow offensively.
the only real problem with this lineup is that if hes going up against like a kobe or dwyane wade, hes gonna get posted up, but u kno the cavs have success with delonte at the 2, i believe we can also do that with dooling

I like the idea of moving Carter to 3. That being said, not sure if I prefer CDR or Dooling in the starting lineup....WE MUST GET AN NBA POWER FORWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!
YI IS NOT AN NBA POWER FORWARD

I've been wanting to move Carter to the 3 spot since we traded RJ, at least until CDR is able to start then we'd see which CDR plays better from and go from there. When I was obsessed (still am) with James Harden, I thought the same thing.
I actually would be fine with Dooling starting...if we can put another consistent player on the 2nd unit with Jarvis. That and we HAVE to add another PG to our roster, possibly maybe another guy (doesn't matter what position...I don't want him, but for argument sake, Lamar Odom) that can handle the ball as well. The problem this season why we would struggle with that is that we're screwed in our lack of depth with players who can actually run the point, but if this offseason we focused on that weakness, I'd be fine. I'd rather get a true sized SG to start there if we're moving Vince to the 3 and have Keyon come off the bench at both the 1 and 2, but if this was our last resort this offseason, I'd accept it.
