That game was BS. Kobe should have been T'd up for the elbow, Ron should have been T'd up for charging Kobe, but Ron should have never been tossed.
Fish should definitely be suspended for a game. That might work out in the Lakers favor though, which scares me a little as an adamant Faker hater.

I feel like Fisher only deserved a flagrant 1 as Scola did a masterful job of selling the foul... Scola should have been tossed anyway after starting multiple crying matches with Odom, and then going after Luke and Sasha...

As for the Kobe "elbow" that was just Ron Artest overreacting, if you watch the replay Artest plows into Kobe eventually hooking him prompting Kobe to throw a slight jab into Artest's chest... Could it have been a technical? Eh sure why not, but it's not like Artest wasn't getting in his own shots all game long...

The refs saw the reaction to Kobe's reaction to Artest's action so Ron was tagged with a foul. At the end of the day the right person was tagged with the foul but Artest flipped out and the rest is history...

I figure fine Kobe and move on, but for the sake of consistency let Fisher play... I mean you allowed Rondo to nail Brad Miller in the face with a clothesline and then go WWF on Kirk Hinrich.

What really surprised me about the game is how quickly the Rockets crumbled, as I said on the Knicks board the Rockets softness problems are deeper than Mac.

I actually want houston to upset the Lakers..

Dude the Rockets aren't soft. Their 2nd best player and leader was ejected with over 8 minutes left on a BS play. They played like absolute dog $hit, but that combined with the Lakers owning refs the way Capone owned judges didn't really help. The Rockets are a much tougher team than the Fakers. The Fakers aren't even a tough team, they're soft and I am saying that as objectively as possible, not with mindless hate.
I think you are equating extremely dirty and cheap to tough. Don't be "that guy".

Artest shouldn't have been ejected. Technical?? sure.. but no need for the ejection since he never put his hands on Kobe.

Either way, I expected the lakers to win game 2, but, they needed monster games from Gasol and kobe combined with Yao being limited to pull it off. I don't know, Houston has real potential to knock them out of the playoffs..

Given Artest's violent history what he did was stupid the refs were just protecting the other players, Joey Crawford has a notoriously short whistle Artest probably shouldn't have been ejected but HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN that doing what he did would get him ejected, given the state of the game / reffing at that point in time...

Also vincecarter4pres the way I see it is that the Lakers have yet to play a complete quarter, the bench still hasn't shown up, Odom and Bynum haven't shown up, Artest is playing WELL above his normal level of play (though there were signs of him coming back down to earth as he went into blackhole mode in the second half and had a couple of costly turnovers), and the Rockets bench is performing at their maximum capability yet...

The Rockets still can't put the Lakers away.

Kobe Bryant alone can keep the Lakers in, and give them a shot to win, any game. All it's going to take is for 1 or 2 other players to get the memo that this is the playoffs and the Rockets will then have no shot at winning this series.

I maintain that Game 1 was a fluke, given what we saw yesterday it seems like I was right...

Not really, Houston normally doesn't give up 100+ points in a game nor does yao only score 10 points.

But Yao does constantly battle foul trouble since he's so slow and can't move his feet in time to get in / out of the way and the Rockets have yielded 100+ points to the Lakers in 4 of their last 6 meetings...

The Rockets aren't going up against any team with any offense right now, they're going up against the Los Angeles Lakers...

I predicted LAL in 7. I don't expect the Rockets to win this series, I just expect them to be an extremely hard matchup that has a legitimate shot to come out the victors.

i actually liked what fisher did.. adds some heat to the series. It should be a good one to watch

As I predicted Lakers win... Again... For those of you who saw this game this is one of the main reasons why I'm skeptical about acquiring Artest, I just don't think the players / coaching staff would be able to keep him from going into blackhole mode... If you saw him the last year or so with the Kings he was like that way ALL the time...

I missed the game tonight, went out, but honestly I'm glad I did, LOL. I do know what you mean though, Artest does go into a Marbury level of chuck mode.
