lets say we win 2nd pick.....thats a great pick

i believe if we win the 2nd pick that will be amazing because lets say blake goes 1st then with the second pick we take Rubio and then we trade harris and Yi for Amare
what net fans think ?

If we get the second pick, I can see us trading down. I would much rather have Devin Harris at this point. Rubio is going to be great, but he won't have a good year, he is too small (body) and he will get pushed around by players like Billups his first couple years.

I think this team can make the playoffs next year with Harris running point and we draft/sign a solid 4. I don't think that if we draft Rubio.

If we drafted Rubio and looked to trade Devin, I pray it wouldn't be for Amar'me.

We were at our best when Harris and Dooling were on the floor at the same time. I could see this working.

i think if we get top 3 pick then you will ultimately see us makeig a hard push to move up to # 1 or make another deal. Alot will depend on who gets # 1. If SAC gets # 1 and we get # 2, i could see us swapping picks somehow or us making a move for Jason Thompson (i could see this happening even if we stay at # 11 and the Kings get # 1). Minnesota may want to trade out of # 1 spot as well if we got # 2 (perhpas we could get # 1 or Love in that scenario).

I don't think we could pry the #1 from Minny if the Nets for the #2. The Wolves need a point guard no way they're going to trade love and the #1 for the #2 and whatever when they can just take the guy they NEED (Rubio) at #1 while keeping Love.

I think you misread the previous post. What he was trying to say was that they could trade up for #1 OR trade pick #2 for Kevin Love.

I didnt imply love and # 1 for # 2 - I meant love or # 1 for # 2 and something - so they could take griffin at # 1 and rubio at # 2 . Love is certainly better than whatever we could get at # 2 this year so I have no issues with that deal. Or they could trade us #1 for #2 and # 11 so we get griffin and they take rubio and whatver at # 11. They already have 3 first round picks but regardless, I think their will be an opportunity to move up depending on who gets # 1 pick.

you do realize you realize that you don't keep pick #11 if you win the lottery right?
