3 of us are saying Magic, yet there is only 1 vote for them.
Come on people, where you at?!

Man when the Lakers in in 5 you're all going to be kicking yourselves but don't worry I won't hold it against anyone, rooting for the underdog is always fun, but REAL TALK the Lakers are simply the better team...

The Lakers can play the emotionless bleah cocky game they've been playing for the past month and a half and they're still the best team today without the KG-Celtics.
Still hope the Magic win so Kobe can look dissapointed on back to back summers.

I HATE the Lakers and Kome more than anyone, but I disagree with that statement.
It is the Lakers that are a match up nightmare for the Magic.
Ariza will be able to D up Lewis. Dwight is going to pick up a bunch of silly fouls against Pau and Odom.
Hedo cannot guard Kome, although Pietrus can at least contain him though. Fisher, as much as he sucks, will be able to muscle around Alston. Bynum will pose problems for anyone not named Dwight or the Polish hammer. Farmar is the definition of suck so far, but he is way to quick and athletic for Old Man River. Shannon Brown will be a headache if the Magic leave open the perimeter.
I am still pulling for the Magic and I think they have a very legit shot, but the Lakers will be favored for good reason.

Its a good matchup.Lakers will win the first 2 at home, then steal 1 in Orlando and finish them off in 6.Unlike the Cavs, the Lakers have the size to matchup with the Magic. And Kobe is gonna make Mickael Peaches look like the worst defender in the league not to mention Lee.Bynum might end up taking bite out of Dwight's ear and he'll still grab 20 rebounds on him.Gasol just has to score so he can try and x out DH's points. The Cavs lost because they didn't get no points up front(Big Z sucks) and they have 2 pgs in there backcourt.Yea nobody was saying anything when they were winning all year and sweeping the 1st 2 rnds but they just couldn't matchup with Orlando's size.

Honestly, take the back. Z is what he is. He's a great competitor and teammate. He just matches up terribly against Dwight, but not many NBA players match up well against Dwight. Everyone in that organization would take a bullet for Z. He is a fan favorite, his teammates love him and he plays as hard as he can day in day out. We're not talking about Scalabrine here. Z is slow due to injuries early in his career, but he has a high IQ, has range out to the 3pt line, is one of the best free throw shooting centers in the league and is the GOD of Tip-Ins. Blame Mike Brown for their defense sucking in this series. His defensive rotations and "adjustments" (I put in quotations because they didn't make any) were atrocious and were more to blame than the front court. The amount of wide open 3's Orlando got every game is just unacceptable in my eyes. If Ferry doesn't rethink Mike Brown's job (or lack of it...did he even prepare for Orlando), then Ferry should get the axe for being (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Orlando's game plan was simple, let Lebron be Lebron and make sure nobody else goes off. Cleveland should have let Dwight be Dwight (like they did in Game 6) and guard the perimeter like your life depended on it. Dwight may have broke Cleveland's back in Game 6, but their guard play carried them 85% of the playoffs which wasn't Z's fault.

Magic in 6.

Yeah no one can guard kobe but No one could guard Lebron either.

ORL F's will dominate LA F's.

Only advantage that LA has over CLE is that they have Ariza and Odom that can try to help guard Lewis and Turk.

Oh I forgot the topic of this thread:

I think the Lakers will win, but I'm pulling for the Magic. Only players I respect on the Lakers are Ariza and Derek. Everyone else are either overrated, divas, or crybabies.

From a raw statistical standpoint yes, but there's a reason his team has performed so poor against the better teams in the league (even when compared to the Smush Parker Era Lakers).

For all his talent Lebron has a number of SIGNIFICANT flaws in his game that are exploited time after time in the playoffs... :-?

I still love Lebron, and I still dislike Kobe, but I still say Kobe is better right now. The day Lebron stops those stupid pull ups when he should be murdering everyone on the court is the day I change my mind.

The Lakers without Kobe are a 40 something win team, likely around 48 wins.

The Cavs without Lebron are a 20 something win team, likely about 29.

The Lakers with Lebron are a 70 something win team, likely beating the Bulls for the record.
