Just throwing this in the air, don't shoot me, but do be brutally honest...
NJ sends:
11th overall pick
Sean Williams
Bobby Simmons
NY sends:
8th overall pick
Wilson Chandler
Eddie Curry
Alright, I know, I know, I... We trade for Eddie Curry?! VC4Prz, have you lost your mind?! Yes, but it was a long time ago, so that has nothing to do with it.
We trade for, gulp, Eddie Curry, but, but... Simmons is basically worthless anyway and is paid more next season, so if Curry really is slimming down a little and can just be a 20mpg guy off the bench, it could be worth it to get Wilson Chandler and to move up 3 picks. Quite possibly Jordan Hill or Harden could still be available at 8. On top of that, it would likely be easier to move up to an even higher pick with the 8th and if a player we want is available at 7th, he'll either be there at 8, or we can swap with GS for next to nothing, maybe a future 2nd or cash considerations.
Obviously this would be a draft night trade and even though the main piece is Chandler, this trade would also depend highly on if it was worth it to move up 3 or 4 spots.
