I know his play is very annoying, but I still think he is an improvement over what we got at the 4 in terms of inside play.

Re: Anderson Varejao?
Nothing like the kind of player we need playing next to Brook. Yes he's a decent defender (even if people HATE him for flopping) but he doesn't have a strong enough offensive game for my liking to merit signing him. Plus, he wants more than the MLE. Those two factors make me not want to consider him...and this is coming from a guy who actually owns his jersey. We have other issues I feel we need to address, and if management DESPERATELY wanted a big man, it'd be cheaper to just draft on at 11.

I agree - i would like to have varejo as the first big off the bench to back up the 4 or 5, but given what it would cost to get him and his rather limited offesenive skills, I would pass.

Haha I bought it his 2nd year with Cleveland. I just like characters and buying jerseys of role players on random teams. I got a big z jersey too. My roommate is a Cavs fan. What do you want from me lol?

I would like you to douce it in lighter fluid and set fire to it.
The way you feel about Mark Blount is how I feel about Varejao.

My next jersey is definitely going to be Buckets.

Haha at least Andy isn't as grossly overpaid, but I definitely could understand where you are coming from now that you mention Mark Blount.

no thanks to Varejo.
I think we get what he brings to the table from either Anderson or SWAT.

Tropical plumber hey! Unclog your pipes today! Tropical plumber hey! There aint no better way! Thats what I hear in my head when i see this goofball on the court. Please keep him as FAR away as possible from our squad. Blanka isnt even a short term answer for our reserve power forward position. If the Nets cant land Boozer then they should look to the draft for a PF. Maybe even get talks started with New Orleans for West. Might be a long shot but worth a try.

Haha nah I switched sports for a little bit. I just picked up a Dustin Keller and Sanchez jersey. If we draft Earl Clark, he'll probably be my next jersey. That or CDR just because I love how much of an arc his name has on the jersey.
