Guy's I see the nets are holding working out's for 36 ..... count em 36 rookies!!!!!!
Talk about your due diligence. A couple of things I noticed was most of the players (if not all!!) that we have been talking about drafting are not on the list. Which concerns me that we might be trading down??? I know Thorn has been very hit and miss with picks, but i am wondering if he has found his 6-10 300 pound "MOOSE" in the siberian wilderness or he really doesn't think much of this years talent in the 5-11 pick range. Which brings me to my next point. Surely if Thorn/Kiki don't like what they see they would look at trading out of this draft. I see no sense in trading down in this years draft to get an average player or at best two picks. Doesn't three first round picks in a much deeper draft next year seem more appealing?

Anyways, I noticed one of the players was a guy by the name of Joe Ingles. He is an Aussie, very young, very raw, extremely streaky lefty with hops and a tall lanky frame. He played for the team I support here in the local league called the Sth Dragons has very minimal international experience(unlike mr mills). We call him Mr Jingles (get it? J Ingles- Jingles ah i crack me up) he can and will take it to the rim sort of a poor man's Tayshaun Prince. Second round at best. But you never know with a team like Spurs thier assistant coach Brett Brown is now our National team coach and he may be able to sway them into grabbing him late in the first round.

I saw that list earlier. Almost every guy on that list is a 2nd rounder, at best.

I am thinking Sean Williams might be good as gone for a very late first or eveb a 2nd round pick.

I know they have scheduled work outs later in the month for the guys who will be there around 11. The fact they are having so many late first/early seconds in this mass work out makes me think they are serious about buying a pick or trading back into the late first.

I wouldn't be oppose for a trade down. Just like what's being reported, when i looked at the players on different mock drafts, it seems like this draft class is not as bad as many thought it would be, including me. There's players projectedly going to the 2nd round or late 1st round that i think has about the same potential and might have better skills, esp. defensively, than the players that are currently slated to go early.

There's Ty, Taj and even Damion James, who i really like. Dante Cunningham is also one of my favorites and there's Christmas, Green, Tony Douglas, Derrick Brown, Victor Claver, Pendergraph and Sam Young, who many thought was a lottery pick. Some may not be better than the current lottery picks but they were once a fan favorite.
