Corey Maggette and fillers for VC and Dooling?

Would it mean goodbye to S-Jax? There are some contract issues with this trade proposal.

The article also said the teams would swap picks this year. I don't have much interest in either Maggette's or Jackson's contract.

For what it's worth DraftExpress has a Carter rumor too, but they say that the Nets are shopping Carter for cap relief. Maggette and Jackson are the antithesis of 'cap relief'.

Along with cap relief, we're looking for picks and young talent. Maggette and Jackson are the antitheses of those two also. I don't see a trade like this going anywhere either.

Blow my brains out. I like Courtney Lee but I few him as a solid SG off the bench. We better have a deal like for Bosh or Amare or Boozer planned for the summer with these expirings.

Good point. We could end up cutting Battie or Alston, but then again, Thorn doesn't usually cut players for pure salary costs.

i think alston is only 2.5M guranteed, but like you said, 2.5m is not exatcly a small amount.

ESPN update says we could also be sending Ryan Anderson also. We'd have 15 players at the end of that trade and then the 1st rounder.

Maybe they realize they dont want to pay Turk $10+ mill.

Isnt bad at all. We can give u Boone to back up those guys. With a better coach he should be serviceable.
