With an uncertain future ahead, every game looks like a struggle for this season. While sitting and watching all 82 games may be painful to the eyes, here a few games that every Nets fan should watch.

October 30 - Orlando Magic at New Jersey Nets

The home opener brings former Nets Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson to the Izod Center. The Magic look to make there way back to the Finals with the veteran Carter as he finally is back in the spotlight with Orlando.

While all the hype is on Carter, Anderson will look to continue what he started in New Jersey as the Magic are a perfect fit to his long range, long body type play. This game could be the beginning of the biggest mistake for one team but which is it going to be?

Without Vince, Toronto loses it's flair when we play them.

vs. Orlando
vs. San Antonio
vs. New York (it's weak now but they're still our rival)
vs. Dallas
vs. Any team with a similar young decent roster (Minny/Memphis/even Portland) to see how we match up.

Yeah I forgot to mention that it isn't the same without Vince, but, I still like watching the Raptors play for some reason..

If Robin is starting, it would be an interesting game to watch IMO. New York is a good option too as both are cost cutting for LeBron and are rivals.

I actually love their fans. They're not fairweather like a lot of Knicks fan (that's bold because there are still a ton of true Knicks fan) or any big team through the years that were awesome, then sucked, then got awesome again (see: Boston Celtics or ANY New England team in ANY sport for that matter). Raptor fans gave us extra crap because we stole vince from them. I think they also started getting a little more pride when they started to turn the corner a few years ago then got bitter after they stunk up the place more recently. Their hearts are in the right place. At least they have more than 15 people that give a damn about them. I'll never think there more irrational than Knicks fans and, to an extent, a lot of Cavs fans are turning into (I live with one so I see it, but I also blame that situation on the media as well). If you go to Raptor game in Toronto, you'll have a great time. Also, that city OWNS!

Canada eh? I think the obvious top games to watch are vs orlando, dallas and san antonio. but the other two im really looking forward to seeing is the opening game of the season for two reasons. to see how this team plays and to see that bobby simmons isnt the starter and have preludepunk send me a qdoba gift card! the other game im looking forward to seeing is nets vs pheonix. i was really looking for the nets to draft earl clark so i think it will be fun to see how well he plays and go up against his former teammate and fellow rookie terrence williams.

I'm going to say:

- Orlando (Vince Carter, enough said)

- New York (It's always fun watching the Nets bring Knicks fans back to reality)

- Dallas (Devin Harris vs. Jason Kidd)

- Chicago (the last few years the Nets and Bulls always seem to play in close / competitive games, there's no real rivalry between the fanbases, only mutual respect but the games are still entertaining)

- Phoenix (this only makes the list because Devin Harris is sure to light up Steve Nash and put on a quality show)

Haha Jarvis may end up started with all the attention he's getting. I still stand by Simmons as the Game 1 starter though. Our 2nd unit will be worthless if Jarvis isn't there.

What's your favorite burrito place just in case? You cool with Qdoba? I can get a different place if it fancies you more. I'm a Chipotle guy myself.

The city isn't very nice when you are wearing a Nets jersey to the game. Luckily now I'm safe until they give us Bosh for Hassell, Dooling and a second rounder.

I still have no idea how the hell this happened.

Along with most of the teams mentioned, I'm actually looking forward to the games at The Rock in the PreSeason.

Probably my favorite basketball commercial ever...I loved everything about that commercial. Hell, I loved how K-Mart's in the commercial just to be in the commercial.

i always love nets vs knicks games

most my friends are knick fans, so its nice to put them back in their place, ESPECIALLY if josh boone drops a career high, that would make it perfect.

Considering that the Nets and Knicks are projected to be at the bottom in the standings, this should be fun to watch- to see who is worse hahaha. At this point, I give the edge to the Nets when comparing rosters. The Knicks really haven't made any moves, and they still have over-priced vets like Curry and Jeffries. And the big question remains- whether this group can, or will ever gel coherently.

I agree with rosters on paper. Where I'm on the fence is the fact they have D'Antoni and we have Opie. Opie is the Herm Edwards of basketball. You get a lead then you drag out the game as long as possible and hope you hold on. I guess I come from a different school of thought than Opie and the Herm. Maybe Frank can get an analyst job he doesn't deserve like Herm did.

Ha! My comparison is catching on!
