Well, I think it narrows the gap and puts us in the non-Cleveland lead.

As I have maintained from day 1... Lebron is going to resign with the Cavs.

Honestly the only way I see him leaving Cleveland is if the Cavs fail to make the playoffs... And let's be serious... That's just not going to happen.

It all falls on the plan to move to Brooklyn. If its 100% gonna happen then theres a better chance for the Nets to sign him. But I say 85% he stays regardless of the Nets moving or not. And soup, your sig looks a little..... well lets just say you should verify its no homo. Brook bendin over in front of batman. You see what im sayin?

I must say I jumped off the Lebron wagon, but this new owner thing will make it interesting.

1) If Cavs lose again, Lebron can say Bye Bye.
2) If Brooklyn finalized and will be built in 1 yr or 1yr and a half, Maybe lebron says - I will pick up my one year left on the contract.
3) lebron realizes that the New Owner is going to go all out to help until Brooklyn move.

I dont know if Lebron leaves, but it makes things interesting. Especially watching the Knicks fans squirm.

I don't think it is likely that the Nets get Lebron but if the teams that have a shot are the Cavs, Knicks, Bulls, and Nets I think the Nets have the best chance as long as the Cavs don't win a championship.

I think the Nets offer the best combination of talent, cap room, location, and ability to sustain a dynasty, which I think is the biggest draw. Where can he eclipse Jordan? The only way to do it is by winning more championships.

You see that, "Say Cheese!", picture with Plax. Man, what's up with the post, they're ruff. Cut the poor guy some slack, he's giving up two years of his freedom for one really stupid mistake and they seem to be rejoicing, check that, celebrating it. Scumbags. :-?

Lebron would be amazing. I would take Chris Bosh or Joe Johnson though personally as a more realistic possibility.

Lebron is definitely coming if they loose they loose second round of the playoffs. The team is getting old and they are spending a lot of amount of money. I believe the team they have right now is at its peak. If they can't even make the eastern conference they will definitely disassemble.

If Lebron leaves CLE, I believe, the Nets have the best chance of acquiring him. We now have money because of the Russian guy, We have tons of capspace that we can sign 2 MAX contract next year, we already have a great supporting cast, we have Jay-Z (his bud), and we are moving to Brooklyn where he wants to play. We have to many positive things going for us for him not to choose us.

For me, If I can sign anyone in the free agent next year however, I would go for Joe Johnson. I know Lebron is in a different level than Joe Johnson however, I believe that Joe Johnson is a much more better fit to us. If you think about it, if we acquire him, we will have all the elements on the offensive end. Slasher (Devin Harris) Shooter (Joe Johnson) Post Scoring (Brook). Also Joe Johnson would great since he has a style of a point guard (great dribbler and good passer) Plus, he can play the 3 position since he has the body for it (6"7 240 lb) I believe we will be a much more elite team having Johnson than Lebron
