Realgm's Yankee Forum

I know there are a bunch of yankee fans that are posting over there already...but we always have a thread here...Rich has been away on business...and I know Jeff doesnt stop talking about the Yanks for one minute in shaBronx...

All I asked before the Div series was for ARod to please stand up...and he did more than that...sick...hopefully Girardi finally understands that Posada needs to play every day...

Boys, this year has a different feel to it...our regular season cohesiveness has definitely carried over to the playoffs...my fingers are crossed, I've been waiting a long time to avenge some of the painful post season losses we have have experienced since 2001...

We are the favorites hands down anything but a Championship would be a huge let down.

please. this is a new jersey nets discussion board. the nets is what brings us together, dont start with these useless jets and yankees boards. those will only separate us. we are a small community and theres no need to cause tension. that said, LETS GO NETS!!!

I'm defecting from you New Jersey Nets fans. I'm creating a new land for us Nets, Jets, and Mets fans ONLY. I'm gonna call it "Nu Jerz" and it's basically exactly like New Jersey, only it's not...it's more awesomer!

Don't be a d***. The OP of that thread wanted more people to post on the Jets Board to talk about Jets. Yankees talk here has been a tradition every year they've made the postseason. This is why that's allowed here.

Point: If you've got nothing nice (or even progressive) to say, no one really wants to hear it.

First of foremost...WE--Realgm are promoting our sister forums...

Secondly, there have been numerous Yankees, Giants, Mets and Jets threads through the years without any issues what so ever...so I dont know what your talking about as far as tension, since you only been around for a minute...step back for a bit and watch how things are done...

Since day one, we have had a very tight group of members here, and there is no need to question things when no issues actually exist...we bust each others balls, have fun talk about other sport teams besides the Nets...but at the end of the day we are all Nets fans and respect each other just fine...

This world is just terrible, every radio station, television channel, 99% of websites all mention baseball. I just cant get away from it....... even this website dissapoints me somewhat. I see NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL. where is the association football (soccer) forums? just out of curiosity, if I were to create a topic about the world cup or Spains La Liga would it get locked? im not saying that to sound like im angry im just seriously asking.

of course not feel free to start any offtopic thread whether sports related or not...Just lable it OT in the title and you're good to go...my brother just got back from England caught a premier league out there...we're both looking forward to 10/20/09 and the new Fifa release from EA...and I played Div. 1 soccer in college for a year, before transferring...soccer is in my blood...played it since I was 5 all year round...HS, ect...so no worries...

Hey. Hope you guys don't mind me posting here since I'm a dreaded Knicks fan....but I think it's cool that a lot of you guys are big Yankee fans. They would most likely lock a thread like this on the Knicks board since there are so many posters and a lot of ridiculous off topic threads.

So a few things...I'm REAL nervous about the Angels...but I gotta say (and I hope I don't jinx anything) this feels like the year the Yanks return to the top. This team just has that old school feel to it. The personality of the team is there, they are clicking on all cylinders, hitting in the clutch and on paper are clearly the best team in baseball and have been all year. It seems like our bats are up for the challenge, but like always, it will come down to pitching. Thankfully these guys got the stuff as long as they can be as clutch as our lineup has been. Hopefully Joe's 3 man rotation doesn't back fire. GO YANKS!!!
