Brook Lopez's stats projection for 09-10 season

Post#1 » by kgnwally » Thu Oct 22, 2009 6:10 pm

Hey guys i am here asking what you guys think brooklyn Lopez can put up this year being the second option on this nets team. he seems to have tremendous upside. Here are my projections:

52%fg
78%ft
16.5ppg
10.5 rpg
2.0apg
1.0spg
2.5bpg

what you think is that realistic for the big fella?

Don't be shy because of his recent trouble with double teams. He'll adjust to the way teams defend him and end up averaging somewhere between 17 and 20 IMO. I'd put his rebounding in the 9s though partially because he is asked to do so much as a shotblocker which draws him out of rebounding position.

I agree with the %'s and scoring, but I'd say 9.6rpg, 2.1bpg, 0.7spg and 1.7apg.

Don't think his fg % will be that high more like 46.

10rpg
1.5apg

He turned down a one year deal for 1.4 million, so he's still a UFA.

Common sense should tell you if someone wants to pay you a million you're crazy if you don't take it. NBA players are so spoiled spread the wealth if you're that rich.
