What kind of offers would it take to make you consider trading him?

Actually, I would consider a combination of Al Jefferson + Ricky Rubio.

So your saying you wouldn't trade him for anyone in the NBA?

You would have to take Najera's contract though.

But I said consider.............. Franchise centers like Lopez don't come around too often. And Al is injury prone, along with Rubio who won't really attract FA's to come to NJ. If anything, instead of Rubio I would ask for Al + your first rounder this year.

I agree with you. Lopez would be a beast with Kevin Love and Jonny Flynn

Thats probably asking too much. Al Jefferson is the better player right now and is ranked 10-13 in trade value on the trade board poll, Lopez is around 22. Not only that we are giving you Rubio's rights. Thats probably the best you will get out of the Wolves. You wouldn't be able to get the salaray dump from Najera's contract, and you probably won't get the 2010 1st, since it has protections on it already anyway. Even with Big Al coming back from injury, and Rubio oversees I think this is overpaying enough. The problem is these two teams aren't good trade partners, I'm just a big fan of Lopez.

EDIT: Jefferson and Rubio, is the best you can get out of me, most other Wolves poster give you near as much.

I would include him in a deal for Chris Paul if Okafor was coming back as well. Obviouslyy there would be a lot more to the deal, but just saying.

Anything else, not sure. Maybe for a top 5 pick in the draft next year if a guy like Greg monroe really looks lie the real deal and falls a little.

I think Brook is going to be a beast eventually, I just think we expected way too much out of him before the season started and i think all the injuries around him is putting enormous pressure on him.

Like Soup said, franchise centers don't come around all the time and he looks to have all the makings of one.

I wouldn't trade him for Al Jeff, I am not a big fan and he is really a 4.

I really don't want to trade Brook. I'm only open to it if we're getting a game changer in return. I'm talking like Chris Paul and guys in that tier. Yes we'd obviously have to give up more than just Brook, but as of right now Brook is my main guy on the roster I'd want to build around. True centers with his talent level don't come around every day so unless I'm getting someone big (see: Al Jeff/Fillers/Picks for KG) then I'm rejecting all other deals.

That's just my opinion though.

These are the reasons I want him on my team. I love Kevin Love, but in hindsight I wish they would have gotten Lopez instead.

No no no no no no and no. Youd give up Lopez for RUBIO?? i wouldnt trade frank for rubio. that kid is so overhyped its ridiculous. brandon jennings destroyed him over in europe id MUCH rather consider that kid. but even for lopez it would take a hell of alot to start considering trading him. if it were me id start with a team thats for sure going to get a high draft pick like sacramento and ask for kevin martin and unprotected first round pick just to get me to acknowledge they are interested in a trade.

1. Jennings didn't kill Rubio last year. Rubio killed Jennings, and Rubio still had a bad wrist.

2. Big Al is a better player than Kevin Martin, that Sacto deal is not as good as the one I offered. Sorry.

I wouldn't trade him for the fact that no real good offer would ever come. I'd be open to it, however, if one did.

So the general consensus is only trading him in a package for a star?

Not just for a star for me, but it could just be a good package, too.

Anyone can be traded, but unless we get a star back - NO WAY I AM TRADING LOPEZ.

He is still a cornerstone C. I dont care what he is doing right now for this team.

All of his TO I blame frank. You cant say that Lopez will be more active in the NETS offense and not prepare him for that. I dont get why FRANK thinks the guards should get more touches then LOPEZ. The offense should go through Lopez first. Yeah he is crumbling when he gets double teamed but that is just a lack of preparedness by the coaching staff. Positioning on the blocks is important. If the guards are impatient and consistently call out for picks how is this guy suppose to learn positioning.

Anyway NO to trades with NO STAR player.

uuuuh no buddy sorry. when they played head to head rubio was locked down. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2009 ... id=4255421
and look at jennings now hes beasting for a rookie.

Al Jefferson is a stud no doubt. But Kevin Martin is 30 points a night waiting to happen PLUS the high first round pick theyre gonna have? we should have a vote on which deal most people would prefer.

Kevin Martin has to be the one of the most overrated NBA player. If you put Kevin Martin on any contender he'd be a 3rd option at best (a damn good 3rd option, but a 3rd option nonetheless). His inconsistency is eye gauging, one night he'll pour 40, the next he'll go like 4-14, with 15 points. He's a stat stuffer on a terrible, terrible, Kings squad. I would prefer a healthy Al over Martin any day of the week.
