I still believe in this team

This 0-7 start is so deceiving to what Nets can do. I still believe that the Nets can still become a .500 team by the end of the season so stop thinking about John Wall this early. The answer to all our problem is two words and it is Devin Harris. People are forgetting how amazing Devin can be. This guy is the the quickest player in the league. Only a hand full of players can keep up with this guy and most of them are horrible defender. Basically Devin is almost unstoppable in one on one plays. So far, the Net's problem is scoring which is 87.7 ppg. The main reason why the Nets is having such a hard time to score is we don't have many offensive playmakers that will put pressure on the opposing team. So the opposing team is just guarding the Nets normally so it is hard for anyone to get open. The only players we have that makes something happen is Devin(injured), CDR(injured), and T-WIll(still raw). My point is once we get Devin back it will be much more easier for our role players like Lee to score. Devin looked horrible in the first two games because he couldn't make a jumpshot since his groin was bothering him. Defenders were sagging off of him since only thing he can really do is to take it to the rim. Once he gets his midrange shot going in. He will be a player that will be a 20 and 10 guy.

A reminder how good Devin Can Be:

Also our defense look good this year as well even though we are letting opponent score 99.6 which is another false number.

The last 7 games opposing team scored:
WOLVES: 95
ORL: 95
WAS: 123
CHA: 79
DEN: 122
PHI: 97
BOS: 86

We gave up on the two blowouts where they scored in such a big amount so that made the opp ppg look bad in our part

yeah thats great, but in those games the nets scored:
93
85
104
68
94
94
76

holding the opposing team to low scores doesnt help if you cant score yourself. devin is an all star but hes not gonna get the nets back to .500. the nets couldnt even beat the wolves with harris!

I honestly love this team. I am happy with everyone on this roster to tell you the truth. My only problem with this roster is with our guys who play the 2/3 positions. As high as I am on them, I don't know if any of them can be a #1 scorer. I know it's early in the season, I just don't see superstar qualities in them. I see very good starter caliber players, but outside of Brook and Devin, the jury is still out for me even though I love these guys.

Thats the thing. Devin Harris scoring will put more pressure to opposing players and will take pressure off of the rest of players and get our other players open shots. Thus, scoring more points. Anyway we will see in a week when he will be back.
