Byron Scott's team is 3-6 he gets fired

Post#1 » by kamaze » Thu Nov 12, 2009 6:50 pm

Lawrence Frank is what's it 0-8 now and the GM applauds him for doing a good job.
B. Scott coaches a 3-6 team and gets fired what's wrong?

Fire Frankie and bring Scott back.

Thats cuz the Hornets should be contenders. The Nets aren't even considered to be pretenders.Devin Harris feels healthy now that he's seen Brook beasting out there.

I was always a fan of Byron, but I don't know if he is right for our situation.

No to Scott, yes to firing Frank.

We don't need to fire Frank, specially on a rebuilding year. He's a good mentor to the young guys, and an underrated playmaker.

Why fire Lawrence Frank when any replacement will be coming in for only the remainder of the season? Next year, it will be Ettore Messina coming in - Book it.

If we fire lawrence frank, i dont think we are getting a real coach before next off-season. Thats cuz the ownership situation is really up in the air. If we fire frank now, probably an assistent will replace him untill the end of the regular season.

I think we should just let Frank finish out his contract it made sense to fire him 2 years ago but he's done a pretty solid job developing the young guys when we started rebuilding.
Besides its not his fault this team is winless its those damn injuries!!!!!!!!!

Hornets were expected to do something, nets were expected to suck. Hornets have a bit of talent, outside of a few players the Nets look like a patchwork team. Besides, no one worth anything is taking the Nets gig until the ownership situation settles.

The Nets are playing with 8 guys right now and you think the solution is to fire the coach?

Frank has done a GREAT job this year. This team is an injury riddled 0-9 and hasn't quit yet. You can't expect much from a young team for the first few games of the year and then once the injuries hit, there just hasn't been the talent on the court to win games.

We've lost some tight games and dumb untimely turnovers have been our biggest problem. The team, particularly the PG rotation, just needs health.
