do you see any signs of promise on defense?

In a rebuilding year/perfect storm of problems, I am trying to look for little positives... Does anyone see any positive signs on defense from the young players? I think Lopez and Yi to a lesser degree are talented in terms of position, but they are on the slow side and have trouble adjusting. I am not seeing any defense from Harris/CDR/Twill and that makes me very nervous. what do you guys think?

We have some good shotblockers in Lopez and Boone (not sure if Lopez is still leading the league but he's up there). C. Lee I think is leading the league in steals. Harris has been pretty inconsistant as has CDR. T. WIll who was praised for his D has shown me nothing except his love for shooting, which he sucks at. Overall I think we have good individual defenders, but we suck so we then we get lazy.

For the first 7-8 games the team was playing great defense things went downhill from there but hopefully they'll pick back up if Kiki can get through to Lee and Williams.

there are definitely some above average defenders on the is team...set aside individual defensive stats...and you can say our defense overall needs to be at a higher level...
