Thank god.Let him go to a team that can use his garbage skills. What a complete waste of money he was for the Nets.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting on his twitter that Sean Williams may be cut in order to do the deal.

that Joe in your sig?

anyways I heard in some reports that u guys might waive Sean Williams for the roster spot as opposed to Quinn? He's always looked really talented every time I've seen him play but I know he has some issues. Does he play a lot for you guys? Could he be a useful asset somewhere else as a 4th big or something (thinking of my Nuggz lol)

Yea it makes more sense to keep Quinn as our 3rd pg incase Dooling or Devin go down again.

We'll give you Sean Williams for 2 tickets to Avatar.. BUT it has to be tickets to a 3D movie theater..

Hump is one of my favorite bad Raptors ever. Seeing him on my least favorite team the Nets makes me : (

Hump sucks big time, but anything is an upgrade over Najera and the rest of this sad and sorry excuse for a roster.

Kind of sad that this is the end of Sean Williams as a member of the Nets but even his shot blocking regressed from his rookie year. He really had me hyped when he first came into the league :(

If that is your opinion of Humphries then I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Hump is young and athletic but still a little raw. He is a good scorer and rebounder when given the minutes. In Dallas, he is buried behind Gooden and Dirk. The Mavericks are aging and in a win now mode where no thought is given to developing young players. I will miss Humphries and his effort and energy. Wish him the best in NJ and hope he gets the playing time he deserves.

I want to puke that with 3 wins on the year...you people are talking about these nonsense moves with regard to their talent. The only conversation with regard to moving undesireble players...should be about cap room created. Did we gain JACK for this summer? Or did we just change one rediculous commitment beyone this season for another?

CAP CAP CAP CAP. All that should matter! I mean I have seen nonsense conversations about the state of the team over the years...but this is as rock bottom as we will ever get. A TALENT coversation about Najera, SWAT, Alston...or any these incoming scrubs???? COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Khris adds about 700K(Report in the papers) to the Net's saleries for 2010-2011 season. Thats if they dont take Shawne Williams qualifying offer of 3.4 mil for 2010-2011. They definately wont take it. Khris has a final year player option for 3.2 mil for 2010-2011 season. Khris will keep that money. Najera makes 2.8mil 2010-2011 and 2.6mil 2011-2012.

We added about 700K for 2010-2011 season but save 2.6mil 2011-2012 season.

I know it's only a 400K different but the papers are reporting 700K. Hoopshype NBA saleries is probably a little off.

Yeah I read about us taking on salary in this deal. There has to be something else we plan on doing. It's either 1 of two things:

1. Like some critics have mentioned, our brass is focusing on Summer 2011 now so it doesn't really matter what we do to our cap now as long as we don't screw up that summer.

2. We have another move we're discussing but needed some more salary coming from our end...in the end helping Dallas save $5,000,000.00 and us having the salary to make a trade for someone else.

It's the only two realistic reasons for making this trade. As much as Najera's career is on life support, it's not like he played a lot nor will Hump likely play a lot either. For that reason, the trade lacks logic. But if it was for one of my two reasons above, then I am fine with it and I won't lose sleep over a guy who will be our 12th man anyway.

The only thing we gain is that we got rid of Najera's 2.6mil for 2011-2012 season. Khris only has one more year.

^^^^^^ok so the trade makes sense since we're saving alot of money in 2011/12.I just didn't think we wanted to add salary for next season.
