if you guys didn't win the lottery that would probably kill all of your morales and ruin your chances of getting wall

Not really if the Nets don't land a top 3 pick (Wall, Favors, Turner) then I'd definitely be down in the dumps for a bit but even at 4 (the lowest the Nets can pick) there are still some quality players.

Wouldn't kill my morale. There's always 2011 to land the number one pick.

i would laugh...when we move to brooklyn..I would laugh...when we have the most cap space next year... i would laugh when we have Yi Jinlan, Devin Harris, Courtney Lee, Chris Douglas Roberts, and Brook Lopez as just " our future"... I WOULD LAUGH...but then again the Nets are 3- and garbage...so ill just smile and hold my laughter till that year when we $hit on the league...oh yeah... its coming soon.

Amare for Yi + #1. NJ has the $ space to afford Amare and Lebron if they lose Yi's contract and the #1 contract. Harris, Lee, LBJ, Amare, Lopez and you have yourselves a legit title contender...

If I knew Lebron was here. I'd consider it even though I think Amar'e has fallen off a bit. Wouldn't even consider it until then though

I know it's a bit premature but i honestly think NJ can land Lebron because of connections and the $ space to afford another dominant low-post scorer. Although i bet most Nets' fans think Bosh>Amare. I think Bosh goes to Miami though...

Well for the Nets I think Bosh would be better than Amar'e he's more of a high post player which wouldn't crowd things for Brook.
Amar'e's jumper has come a long way too but I like Bosh's pick and pop ability better.

I won't mind Turner at all. As much as i would love for us to grab the number 1 pick, i wouldn't mind getting the 3rd pick at all. I'm not high on favors, so i would just try to deal the 2nd pick to the 3rd and see if we can get something else for it. I think Favors is just gonna be another Kwame Brown but a little bit more aggressive.
I already like Turner right from the start but after watching his game against Purdue coming back from a serious injury, i quickly started loving him. This guy can score at will and he brings a lot on the table. Before he is a scorer, he is a rebounder first, then a playmaker... scoring comes easy to him. Whoever is going to get this guy is going to be a very lucky team, a star written all over him... STAR!... STAR!... STAR!.......... lol

I will laugh when the brooklyn nets still suck and dont sign any free agents, then New Jersey gets a new team that plays at the prudential center and wins a championship within its first three seasons. NEWARK DIMEBAGS 2014!!!!!!!!

I am not too concerned with #1. If we get it, we get it. I'd take Turner or Favors and be fine with it.
I'm calling it now though...if we actually draft a player with Dallas's pick (which I still don't think we will, but for argument sake) I truly believe we're gonna draft a foreign player we can stash in Europe for a few years.

^^^This team is completely devoid of talent, we will be using that Dallas pick on a play now player.

Or at the very least, packaging it for a player.

That's what I said in my post. I'm sticking by my statement. I don't think we're using this pick to draft a player for us, but if we do, it's European talent we can stash for a season or two. I'm ok with people thinking otherwise, but that's what I honestly believe.

Whats more probable; The Mavericks losing 25 games in a row, missing the playoffs and jumping 13 spots to nab the 1st overall pick with ours being the 2nd or Netsforce being allowed back on the General NBA board?

This team just needs to continue adding talent this is a very deep draft even our 2nd rounder could land us a soild player. I could definately see us moving the Dallas pick with Harris if we land Wall, but if we land Favors or Turner we just need to keep stocking talented players (all postitions). Well Thorn's recent track record in the draft isn't that great but his trading is, maybe it's best that we do trade it.
