I hoping we stay close, dont wear ourselves down and close this out with a couple minutes left in the 4th...
On a sidenote...I remember back in the day watching this 6ft nothing pg from Georgetown do everything and anything on a basketball court...I remember reading and hearing about the scandal at the bowling alley, and this guy trying explain the mistakes he made...I can remember AI officially bringing "thug life" to the NBA, and the NBA trying to accept it along with the huge talent of this sick rookie who broke MJ's ankles...I remember wathcing him dunk a basketball, throwing that no look pass or his famous fade in the lane saying this guy was born to play this game...Seeing the passion, the heart and the drive to the finals with his revival of the 76'ers, no offense and all defense championship blue collar team was truly an accomplishment in his own...
I dunno, as much as he was unable to fit in with other teams recently and the slow decline of what was once the Answer, his love and respect for the game still exists in my mind (check out John Thompson's interview if you missed it)...The bad rap along with urban life style never helped his perception of many NBA fans...With most teams he dominated the ball, maybe too much ultimately becoming known as a chucker...but we're talking about a perennial all star, a player that truly loves the game and who was maybe only made to play in Philly...
The Media's twist and spin on Allen Iverson, the microscopic view of his private life and therefore intrusion which would bother any normal human being could be the reason for his mistakes made on and off the court...I for one have always believed this man has always tried to steer his game, his perception and his life in the right direction...
As much as I do not agree with Allen actually making the All Star team this year due to the current format and other players obviously having better seasons...There are enough fans out there who have spoken through their voting....Again, even though I disagree with his selection, Allen Iverson definitely derserves more respect than he gets...

Got to regroup right here, this is where having a real coach would be nice.

PG Dooling
SG Hayes
SF Terrence Williams
PF Hump
C Brook

This might be the dumbest team I've ever seen. We have a 2 for 1, yeah the bets shot possible is a 10 foot jumpshot..
I'd love to be in one of Kiki's huddles to see what the hell he tells his players.

I just got scolded on the other Nets site for typing, "Mr. T!", in the game thread after a dunk. They removed the post and said, "Just a friendly reminder to keep simple reaction yells out of the game thread unless you want to add something to the discussion".
**** wankers!
