Fan from Toronto: Safe/Good Hotel near Izod Center?

Post#1 » by tush » Sat Mar 20, 2010 3:41 am

I am currently in Rochester staying with a friend, will be travelling to NJ to watch the game. Decided instead of driving back will spend the night around there.

Can someone recommend a good hotel? Would it be okay just to priceline a 3.5 star for apprx 70 USD?

How close are you looking to stay near the IZod? There is a Marriot and a Sheraton like five minutes away.

Check out Sheraton Meadowlands in East Rutherford.

amazing experience at the Izod Center. I had a seat with my girlfriend right behind the Raps bench. We had our Raps jerseys on and got a ball autographed by the entire team. We spoke to the broadcast crew and they spoke about us and got us on TV back in Toronto.

Everyone was great to us, my GF was scared we would get booed by you guys haha.

I remember that game because that was the game Brian Scalabrine outplayed Chris Bosh.

This argument is pointless, and I can't even remember the game very well, but Scal was 4/10...and Bosh had 2 blocks.
I don't understand your hate for Chris Bosh.

I don't hate Bosh but his softness disgusts me.

Isn't this Nets team starting Yi at PF?

That is softness on another level, an international level.

The difference is that Yi doesn't get shut down by Jason Collins in the clutch.

The mods on this board seriously suck, they don't do crap.

As for the troll, I hope he enjoys watching his team next season while Andrea Poonani is the 1st option on offense.

That Raptors team is 100% soft, full of fruits.
