they should not have bought out raycroft right away they houldve tried to trade him to colorado who had no goalie after jose split we couldve squeezed another pick out of them and saved around 2 million bucks in the process- we shoudve also drafeted nikita filatov as he has more upside

While I agree that we shouldn't have released Raycroft, I'd still take Schenn over Filatov.

Filatov is awesome - but Schenn is the second coming of Larry Robinson and you guys are lucky to have him. You build teams around players like Schenn; Filatov is a player you add to a brink team to put them over the top.
