Jamie Lundmark?
I remember this guy being advertised as an elite winger back in the days when he was drafted. So, is this guy a bust or still waiting to break out? I haven't seen him play even once, but I heard a lot of good things about him back in 1999.

Re: Jamie Lundmark?
He's a replacement when we deal Poni and/or other forwards. I really don't think he's going to be much of an impact player, but boy isn't Burkie loading up on the former 1st rounders.

What's the point of going with the youth movement and then signing a 30 year-old who has bounced around the minors for the last 10 years? Even if it doesn't cost you now in money or draft picks, it costs you in some young guy's ice time.

Kulemin, Bozak and Hansen I'm guessing.
And why are we dealing Ponikarovsky? Does Burke hate offense that much?

Poni is a UFA after this season and will likely command more $$$ than he is worth. And he'll probably get it from someone.
Burke might as well take a decent prospect and a 2nd rounder for him rather than letting him leave for nothing.

I know this is old, but as a Flames follower, just thought I would say that while Lundmark likely won't become an impact player, he will give 110% every night. He has good positioning and a decent shot. Unlike the rest of the Flames, he knows where to put the puck. Everytime the Flames called him up, he played well. Never figured out why we constantly sent him back down. And to throw him away for nothing disappointed me.
