Leafs games online question (not illegal streams)

Post#1 » by mini » Tue Sep 28, 2010 1:09 am

Hello all. I'm hoping to find some information because the two times I've emailed the NHL (via their website) I have not received a response.

I am currently living in South America and want/need to watch my Leafs online. I was hoping the NHL had something similar to the NBA's 'League Pass' but can not find any information. I want to, and I'm willing to, pay to watch the games. Where do I go, what do I do. I am willing to watch games after-the-fact or even the next day.

Last year I watched games on whatever online streams I could find but the quality was trash for the most part. If there is no 'legal' route, has anyone signed up and used any other source (I'm thinking of JustinTV in particular).

Any help would be appreciated as the season is right around the corner.

NHL started Gamecentre, which is akin to the NBA league pass and MLB online product - https://gamecenter.nhl.com/nhlgc/secure ... video-gcl7

Many online fans also recommend Hockeystreams.com
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Has anyone used either of those services previously? Hockeystreams is the cheaper option but I'm wondering how well it will work on my mac. Any first-hand knowledge is appreciated.
