Also needing to go. Kaberle will bring offers although I have no clue why? Well yes I do. However, a little heart goes a long way. Come to think of it he does have a little heart.

Any of the vets can go. Number one on the list is that scoring machine Tucker. I like Tucker the hard working player we used to have but this Tucker needs to go. I have been saying that he needs to be sent down if no one comes and offers anything.

McCabe might bring something good in the summer if not now.

I'd be extremely excited if could manage to pick up Jeff Carter in a package for Sundin.

With that said, Kesler is looking more and more like he's going to be one of the best defensive players in the league in the near future. If they're adding a guy like Bourdon and pick or Edler (which I HIGHLY doubt)....or even Schnieder, then I'd be satisfied.

Yes sundin is the leafs best player, but he is 37, having sundin gives you no chance at building for the future, you have no cap space, therefore you cant bring in younger players.

this whole team and 75% of its fan base are hopeless, i am sorry.

I didn't say I wouldn't take that deal for Sundin, but lots of things come in to play here which impact his value and potential return on a deal. Hes the best player available at the deadline.

Hossa most likely will be.

I still think Sundin is better. Hossa is younger, but who cares when its a 3 month rental. Hossa plays with Kovalchuk and has less production then Sundin. How bad would Atlanta look if they deal him after trading Heatley for him?

Up until this point, id bet when seasons done both players will have around the same amount of points. How bad will Atlanta look if they dont deal him, miss the playoffs and he bolts in the offseason.
