I just rewinded Leafs TV to when JVR scored and Maple Leafs Square erupted.

Kay Whitmore will be cool, and won't suspend anyone. Fraser is important to us. He took care of Jagr.

good game.

Now all we need is Kadri to get scoring again.

He was instrumental tonight. So at least we know he's not nervous.

Cherry is right, the #1 star was definitely Reimer.

Yup. This team is nothing without Reimer performing well.

Thought so too. He made some timely to keep Boston from getting back in. Not to mention both of Boston's goals were absolute trash that he couldn't do much about. Glad to see the kid performing at this stage. Always had faith in him.

I predicted we'd win only Game 3 and get shut out in Boston, but winning Game 2 changes things pretty dramatically. Leafs may still lose the series in 5, but if I were Boston I'd be nervous because losing at home this early to a team you had a big psychological advantage over cannot bode well for a short series. Even worse, Kessel actually scored a big goal in Boston, which gives him an added level of confidence now.

What was predicted to be a 5 game series in Boston's favour could now be 6 or even 7.

That goes for every NHL team in the league--if your goalie doesn't perform, you don't win. But I get the general drift here. Our defensemen aren't the greatest.

Well what's impressive is Reimer is playing like a playoff goalie. Well except for that one long goal in game 1.

Any predictions as to whether or not we'll win one or both of games 3 and 4?

The Leafs definitely need to continue their aggressive play from game 2, cut down the turnovers, and get back on D, they may have a chance this round. Not expecting much, but hoping for the upset.

You must be a young in. In Leaf land, when we lose a game we're about to get swept. But when we win a game, we'll never lose again.

2 straight in Toronto.

I say it splits.

We lose the first, win the second.

haha, yeah that sounds about right but I think we take 1 of 2. I see Boston taking tonight's game and the Leafs winning the next. I think the key for the Leafs tonight will be stay calm and play smart hockey. Limit the turnovers and make short passes.

I loved the game on Saturday and I think their game plan against Chara worked like a charm and taking him out of his game makes Boston a beatable team. They were hitting him every chance they got, didn't give him time w/ the puck, and he was looking pretty run down by the third. I checked and he still had 4 shots and was a +2 but I'd like to see where those shots were taken.

Boston is only 2 years removed from wining the cup and they are the better team, but I think Toronto can win this series. They definitely seemed like the hungrier team on Saturday
