Burke's showing da hand to.... (list is growing)

First, he showed da hand to the FAN590. no on-air interviews with them (likely due to Krystal's comments about Burke not being fit to be the GM due to him mourning the death of his son).
Now, Burke's told Hockey Night in Canada that he won't do any interviews. Ron McLean hasn't published the reason why, but Burke's isolating himself. You turn on Toronto media, you write yourself a 1-way ticket to Splitsville.

apparently its due to HNIC (namely, Don Cherry) being very critical of the leafs. possibly due to the criticism on how Kadri was handles and possibly due to the highlights Cherry showed of Kadri doing things right, not wrong.

Not to mention going after the fans for booing Phaneuf. The players are no longer the one's with the troubling sense of entitlement, it's the coach and GM.

What a moron. The dude has done nothing to improve the Leafs since he's arrived (Record-wise, anyways. They at least look slightly better on paper), and then he gets pissed when he gets criticized for it.

Why would he want to do interviews with such a cunning ToRonTo fan perspective that likes to explode any spec of flaw they see in him.
Burke you have to realise this is not the relaxed and healthy smooth USA you are living in anymore, this is Toronto where the negative fanbase and journalism is emmense and there are many depressed young men watching your every move because they are upset with their own lives that they are forced to focus on sports instead.

Well so much for that. Looks like they ve mended fences. Burke is on Prime Time Sports today at 4:20 and he patched things up with Hockey Night in Canada.
