Wow, hip hop being played during the Leafs pre-game warmup. So far, two songs featuring T-Pain. Lots of confused faces in crowd.

We don't always play hip hop at Raptors games.

Big deal.

Confused faces in the crowd? I find that hard to believe. Maybe the confused faces were a reaction to the leafs winning?

Why would faces be confused? Now that hip-hop is extremely mainstream, i'm pretty confident 99% of people in that crowd listen to that music whether it be intentionally or unintentionally on a nearly daily basis.

I'm saying this and I don't even like hip-hop that much.

What was confusing: the last leaves game I watched live they opened with some custom made ditty about the Leafs being "Canada's Team", which is so typically Toronto-centric it was laughable especially since half of the audience was cheering for the Oils. And then the starting lineup was 4/5 Euro and Russian. Then they lost 5-0.

Well some of the Hip hop songs these days gives many people confused faces, not just Leafs fans so I guess I can sympathize. But it is still funny nonetheless.

The closest thing to hip hop I've heard in a Leaf game is Puff Daddy's Godzilla song. And they cut it right before he starts rapping.
