Brayden Schenn?

Post#1 » by Evermore » Mon Feb 28, 2011 1:38 am

Kings are said to be looking for a 1st line winger...

Kessel almost qualifies

What other assets (players, prospects, picks) would the Leafs have to package with Kessel to bring in Luke's younger brother?

I'm thinking Kessel plus both 1st rounders might tempt L.A.

What would your offer be?

I would not give up Phil Kessel for Brayden Schenn. I would try to give up the first rounders and a second tier prospect to acquire him.

The only reason the Kings would move Schenn is for immediate help...

Generally, when you're looking for first line help, you're paying a premium. Schenn for Kessel, maybe, although I'd like to see another pick coming towards the leafs

Many would argue Kessel is grossly overpaid...

Not sure the Kings would be willing to take on Kessel's contract AND part with additional assets

I think the Leafs would have to sweeten the pot

Brayden Schenn gets compared to Mike Richards...

Kessel is what...a rich man's Sergei Berezin?

I know which one I want going forward...

Schenn goes to Philly for Mike Richards...

Return to Toronto Maple Leafs
